Product is older than advertised

I had chosen the Smart Hub feature for a particular reason. CRTV was putting their app on those systems the end of 2016. Unfortunately my set will not get that app because it was actually manufactured in 2015. I found this out the hard way when communicating with the web site. I purposely purchased the Smart Hub and thought I was getting a "new" (2016) TV. Now I will need a fire stick or roku, which really defeats the purpose of having a "smart tv". Bummed Out!
