Q: I would like to know the differences between two different models you sell
A: UN32J5500AFXZA is a Best Buy exclusive that's not sold anywhere else and it features a special combination of features. It has a fully functional web browser for the internet, Micro Dimming Pro technology, and a quad core processor. The features make this very special with a great picture and a very fast processor. It has a very nice-looking shiny silver body too. Don't buy the 5205 model as the 5500 is a much better TV and I'm very happy with mine.
Q: What does it mean when it states"browser not included"?
A: This smart HDTV comes with a fully functional web browser for accessing Internet.
Q: Can you watch this TV without being hooked to cable?
A: yes, I have this tv in a room where there is no cable, only internet. I have an external hd antenna I hooked up to it so the tv gets all the local programs free over the antenna. I get a total about 68 channels and do not have it hooked to cable
Q: Can you use this as a computer monitor?
A: If your computer has a hdmi output then yes you can. I've been using it as both.
Q: Does this TV have the Amazon Instant Video app?
A: It does have the Amazon app. It works very well
Q: what does "motion rate" mean??
A: The motion rate is the frequency at which the screen refreshes.
A: The stand is affixed to the TV with 7 screws and is stationary. It doesn't tilt or rotate.
A: I had the same problem. It is on the back of the UN32J5500AFXZA model but not on the others even though the owners manual says it does. I was on with tech support for an hour and he didn't believe me until I sent him a picture of the back. If you purchase the UN32J5500AFXZA, the jack is there.
