I had the same problem. It is on the back of the UN32J5500AFXZA model but not on the others even though the owners manual says it does. I was on with tech support for an hour and he didn't believe me until I sent him a picture of the back. If you purchase the UN32J5500AFXZA, the jack is there.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does not have a headphone jack, but it has an analog audio output jack. It must be amplified to drive a pair of headphones. You can use a small headphone amp such as the Behinger HA-400, and you'll need a pair of headphones with an in-line volume control. The output of the TV does not vary with the TV's volume. It's a standard 3.5 stereo jack for the audio output, the same as most headphones. To use the Behinger headphone amp, you'll need a 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo patch cable from the TV to the amplifier. You'll also need two 3.5 mm to 6.5 mm stereo adapters. The Behinger has 6.5 mm jacks on it instead of 3.5 mm. You might know these jack sizes as 1/8" and 1/4" instead of 3.5 mm and 6.5 mm.
