If your computer has a hdmi output then yes you can. I've been using it as both.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Even if you have an old computer, a VGA to HDMI adapter is very cheap and plugs into the HDMI port, so if you get an adapter you can use just about any tv as a monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.WATCH IT !!! This TV does NOT have a VGA port. You can NOT connect your old desktop to it. Unless you overcome this by buying & installing a video card with HDMI port(s)...!!! P.S. All laptops & Tablets WITH HDMI ports SHOULD connect uneventfully
