• It just means that you won't be able to Google things or check email like on some tv's that do allow you to "browse the internet". However not to confuse - you ARE able to use the YouTube app which can allow you to browse for YouTube videos, and streaming apps are available for use as well. Like Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, and Pandora are all available with this tv ( with wi-fi, of course).

• J5500 model has web browser it means you can search the web, no browser you can't search the web but this model has it now if you want to brows the web faster you need a keyboard with mouse

• It's Wi-Fi ready and you can use it to surf the web if you have Wi-Fi in your house and a connection through your Wi-Fi router

• The set doesn't have a web browser included in its WiFi apps (if it has WiFi at all).
