I purchased this Samsung TV after Consumers Report gave it a high rating. Unfortunately, my experience does not validate that rating. The screen leaves a portion of a caption on it after the caption Is supposed to disappear. You must disconnect the power source and wait for the caption to disappear. The volume will go down the longer the TV is on. Even at 100 amplified the sound is hard to hear. If you disconnect the power the volume returns to normal. Changing channels is slow. The sound has 5 different settings. In order to listen to a movie, music or voices clearly you must select the proper setting. The channel information font is to small. Accessing ROKU is very slow because the screen is slow to respond. The remote control is not easy to use, to many buttons. Also, when I called to make an appointment for take in service the supplier never responded to my call.

Decent price of a tv for the size it does its job very well

I have had Samsung flat panels since 2008. The quality is great for the price point.

This tv is nice in the fact that it is slime and light weight

The 32" Samsung Smart HDTV, that I bought in December of 2013 died on me after 2.75 years of admittedly heavy use. I consider this usage duration much too short. This purchase is an equivalent replacement. This HDTV functions well and the picture is excellent. Will it last?

Overall I am happy with my purchase, only time will tell if the tv lasts a while.

Within 2 weeks after hooking up - on & off was only thing that worked. No sound, couldn't change channels, picture froze after 2 minutes. Button on back on only thing that worked had to turn off with remote. Returned to store for different model TV.
