This tv does not a good a picture or sound as a Sony. After I purchased this tv, as I could not locate a 32 inch Sony anywhere. I looked in my old manual and went to Sony.com. and they do still make a 32 inch. So in the future I will be buying a 32 inch tv. Also, these flat panel tv's are not very sturdy on my shelf. But I have it strapped in to the back of the cabinet.

The only problem is the volume does not seem to work. It takes a long time to increase and decrease it.

I bought this TV because it was Smart and on sale. Out of the box, the Backlight and sound wouldn't work. Black screen, when I flashed bright light on it, I could see the screen prompts. I called Samsung and was on hold for about 30 minutes and I hung up. Boxed it back up and took it back to BB. Their customer service was excellent. They promptly exchanged it out. NOW. Out of the box, it worked well. Set up on my network and I've been in business ever since. The screen was darker than I would have liked but I tweaked it and it is to my liking. It is bright and no "Soap Opera Effect". I watched some NBA and Sunday Night Football and it looked great. I popped in Age of Ultron on Blu-Ray and it ROCKED! The Smart features are nice. I haven't been able to connect to Netflix or AmazonPrime because "The SmartHub is updating, try again later". YouTube and HBOGo are great! The sound is ok but not great. I think at this price point, $279, you can't get too much better than this.

did good shedding papers. But very noisy and base is pretty thin .Over all good for light duty onlt .

TV was very easy to unpack and put together, however the remote was terrible to use with the keyboard on the screen. Additionally, Sling TV can't be downloaded so you'd have to stream from a mobile device or connect another device. No thanks - will be returning this one.

I expected to see that Samsung great picture and sound. NOT! Just an average TV for more $$

I could never get the smart feature to connect to my Wi-Fi. The Geek Squad was zero help.

I've owned other Samsung TV's in the past. This is the last one I'll buy. Cheap build quality. The picture is great but they could spend a little more on the thickness of the housing. It just feels and looks cheap!

TV is being used in the spare room. Like the features of the smart TV but have yet to use them.

tv is being used in a guest sweet. Guests enjoy having smart tv for their use.

Setup and use instructions are poor. Picture is good.

I have several 24" Samsung TV's that have bright, sharp pictures. This TV's picture is rather dim, dark no matter how much I increase the brightness and contrast. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the picture. I would not recommend this model.

Does the job but was a bit quirky to set up. Probably better for the same money

I've had trouble with the contrast setting. Sometimes the tv gets darker on its own.

The base has to be propped up for tv to be level. The overall structure is not solid.

The reception was fine ,it looked good, but it was just too small for the room

This tv has issue with closed captioning lettering becoming stuck in middle of screen. Turning off closed captioning, changing channels or powering on/off does not solve issue. Must unplug tv and then loose cable remote programming. Major hassle. Great picture until this issue happens.

This tv is good if you just want to watch tv. Video quality is not that great.

The picture just looked washed out and gray. I expected more from Samsung.
