So I bought this TV this past Sunday. Got it home and unboxed it to notice that the screen was coming out of the frame. Took the TV back to Best Buy and exchanged it for another one. Got the second one home and hooked it up with no issues. The picture is incredible. The network set up was easy. Very happy with this TV.

Going from a 25" thirty year old Magnavox to this is amazing. The picture is stunning and sound is great. Network setup was a breeze and I was up & running on Netflix, Hulu & Amazon in a few minutes. Just hate having to remember all those passwords. The one thing I want to comment on is the Samsung customer service. Having a few questions, I called Customer Service for help. I have to say, I have not had such a great response from any other companies that I can think of. The agent was amazingly helpful and patient. I've always been a Samsung fan (for all my tablets and cell phones), but these agents just put me over the top and I can't say enough good things about them. They even called me back a few days later to make sure everything was working properly. If you're thinking of buying this TV, I think you couldn't make a better choice. The display is way better than I've seen on other 32" Samsung models (checked them out at Best Buy), setup is easy and the price is right. I was lucky enough to catch this on sale, but even at the regular price, it's a great deal.

This is great TV. It turns on and off quickly, TV screen has clear color and brightness, this is excellent choice.

I like the quality of the picture, though the dimming function has to be fine tuned - but i am seriously angry that the TV brags about Bluetooth capabilities, when i can't pair my Bluetooth devices to it! I have bluetooth headphones, but everything i have read online says that i have to get an adapter, or spend $200 on a TV specific set of bluetooth headphones. It is just really annoying - if you have bluetooth, connect to bluetooth devices! (don't get me started on the Best buy guys - when they wanted me to buy the TV, "yea, it should pair to your bt headphones", then when i ask why it's not pairing "i have never heard of a TV pairing to headphones before".)

Purchased this TV for my sons room and couldn't be happier with the overall quality of the general appearance of the TV itself as well as the picture... This smart TV does so much, I will be replacing the rest of my TVs with this option soon...

What a Amazing television! Samsung still produce reliable products! I would say an excellent quality sound that is produced. The sound is also very good! Good quality I like the flat screens ability to allow me to stream my Netflix movie By just using my account! The clarity of the picture and sound is why I got this machine. It is a replacement for my last tv. Also a Samsung, but 18 years old and in need of repairs! My new Samsung J5500 is impressive for a 32 inch television! I have had this tv for four Days now, so far no problems! My only negative I can say would be that this model only comes In a 32 inch screen, I might be interested in a 39. or 40 inch If available! Also if the picture and sound quality were just as good as my 32 inch! But alas this TV unit only comes in a 32inch! I would highly recommend this TV to anyone, A goodquality television! Perfect size for a Dorm room! A good size for a Bed Room! You could set it up in your kitchen Have fun new owners

The monitor has the most crisp and vibrant picture of any monitor I've owned, and it is certainly designed to look nice when turned off, too. Lovely, sleek lines and whatnot. This has been covered in other reviews. I might expect, however, that for a monitor in this pricepoint, that Samsung could take the time to drill 4 stinkin' holes in the back of the thing so that we're not stuck with the horrible, unadjustable stand. I was hoping to mount the unit to a flexible arm, but then realized that it is not VESA mount compliant OR compatible. Meaning: if you have your monitor sitting on a shoebox on top of your desk, that's where it's going to stay. Yes, it's beautiful. Yes, it's sitting on a shoebox.

Excellent picture quality and attractive design, very thin bezels and a nice gunmetal silver on bottom accents. TV was bought to use in a bedroom with minimal space, a center stand was also needed instead of the ones at the edge and the TV fits perfectly. I am into HiFi and have also owned Sony XBR sets and have multiple IPS panels. This little Samsung compares well, exceeded expectations and holds its own regarding picture quality. Highly recommended for the minimal design, footprint and price.

I have a 24" Samsung TV and a large Sony. I needed another one for my small den. After reading reviews on this site and many other sites I settled in on this one as what I wanted. On sale for $179.00 it was a great deal at B.B. The picture is fantastic, a great remote and although many complain about sound quality in these 32" sets I am happy with it for my use and it also goes really loud! One problem was the auto darkening screen which during the afternoon would get really dark. By setting the picture to "Movie" then adjusting the brightness etc it looks beautiful. I would buy this again I guess that's the best thing I can say!

Bought this TV to put in my bedroom. It has worked out perfectly. Picture is great, even when not in HD. Smart features were easy to set up. This was exactly what I was looking for and bought it as an open box item so even less than regular price.

This is a TV that I wall-mounted in my son's room. The picture quality and the abilities to get a wireless signal and play the Smart apps make it a great TV.

Everything was fine but the HDMI ports don't work. The coaxial cord did but the picture was terrible. After checking all 3 ports using 3 different cables I turned to Google. Found out it was a known issue. Guess what else? It was stated on samsung website that the J series TVs are known to have this issue but it's corrected in a software update. My TV told me there were no updates even though the software version did not match the version the fix was in. I couldn't download the update and apply it manually because, although odd, this TV model was not listed on the website for me to download manuals or anything. Finally after 3.5 hours on the phone with Samsung I talked to someone who actually looked at the website and saw what I was referring to. They said they were going to send me the update on a flash drive but it would take 5-14 days just to SHIP. Unacceptable since I only have 14 days to return it if it still didn't work. I decided to take it back since by the time they decide this the department closed and they would have to have someone call me "some time" tomorrow to discuss POSSIBLY overnighting it to me since I requested that but they could not guarantee. Not worth the hassle.

Great smart tv and easy to set up. I also use it as a computer monitor.

I absolutely love the Samsung Smart TV! Granted, it was a little bit frightening at first and there's so much going on on this thing that it's really easy to lose hours just fiddling around with the remote. Then, you discover the joy stick on the back of the TV. Talk about ingenious! I've had so much fun with it, I almost forgot to mention that the TV requires an internet connection in order to access all of the features. That's the only drawback, as far as I'm concerned. The internet requirement might make it less interesting for a family or individual who doesn't have as many resources at their disposal. Other than that, the picture is crisp and while the remote takes a little getting used to, you're going to pass a few hours quite happily doing exactly that.

Needed a new tv for a small bedroom and this fits the bill. Great picture and sound quality and love the pedestal style base. Remote has great features as well and many options which are easy to find on it. Can't go wrong with this especially when on sale! Didn't even need to wait for Black Friday sales as knew this was the best tv I could find, ordered and paid online and a quick stop at the store to view it in person then just pick up. Love that feature at Best Buy.
