    Cheeeeeeap... 2 of these models failed for me

    The first monitor (SamsungUJ59) I got had a real issue connecting to my MacBook. I kinda got it working, but the menu stopped working, and it switched from English to ~Zurich language on me and I couldn't get it back. I returned it and got a new one. This new one worked initially, but then I started seeing sections of the image flickering in large squares (in the blacks on screen). And if you bump the frame of this monitor the whole screen freaks out with white sections. My other monitors don't do that. Then when I turned off my laptop the screen froze with a bunch of lines on it (while the laptop screen and other monitor turned off just fine) The black are really bad on this monitor... (both I received). More like grey than black. Plus the menu button doesn't always work.. like you press it and get no feedback. Frustrating. I tried 2, returned both.

    Gorgeous monitor but HDMI port 1 stopped working after just four months.

    No internal speakers!

    Please be aware, there are no built-in speakers in this monitor. The external speaker is providing reverberation feedback on the remote user end - therefore rendering this monitor useless for conference calls since I still have to use my cell phone to connect instead of my softphone. The screen sits on a base that does not stabilize the screen so every bump made on my desk rocks the screen and disturbs my remote end video callers. In addition, the screen has a yellow cast and is a bit fuzzy - I expected a 4K monitor to be clear and crisp and frankly better than the last monitor I paid less money to purchase. I would return this item, but the box was lost with others in the after Christmas clean-up and was thrown away. Disappointed in Samsung's product.

    Gaming/computer monitor

    I have my computer and PS4 both hooked up to this. It has an audio jack (3.5mm) which it didn’t mention on store shelf, nice surprise. Looks great for PS4. Computer also good, I don’t use computer as much, wanted to consolidate my gaming and computer space into one. Satisfied with this monitor, I should mention I got it on sale.

    Falsely advertised as 60ghz! This product is only 30ghz! Terrible for gaming on a 4K monitor and it deserves to be accurately advertised. Disappointed but not surprised.

    CONSUMER WARNING READ THIS FIRST!! Caveat Emptor

    This monitor a uj59stopped working after ten months- half of the screen went dark. Here is the problem, There are no service centers on the West Coast. You must pack up your monitor (also applies to computers as well) and send it to New Jersey. That's right New Jersey! There is no repair support on the West Coast. Best Buy will NOT service Samsung computer products under warranty. If I knew this information before I would have never purchased a Samsung product. There I saved you 45 minutes of your life that I spent finding this out. There are too many good products out there for a company to do this. Spend your money elsewhere.
