Samsung - 32” ViewFinity UJ590 UHD Monitor - Dark Gray/Blue

For the price this is a very good monitor. My only slight complaint is the viewing angles are a little limited causing some darker areas at certain positions. Clarity of the 4K is good. I just wish that companies would put the 60hz connection on HDMI-1 rather than HDMI-2. I pretty much always forget that and start to complain that the screen is sluggish when it's the port and not the screen. So far I am happy with its performance for the price. I have used much nicer monitors as a Graphic Designer, but this one does nicely on a budget for working from home from time to time. If I did more work at home though, I would defiantly upgrade to a better monitor.

Bought it for my MacMini rig. Works perfectly. Lots of real estate. Bright, good color. Viewing angles aren’t horrible. Refresh isn’t horrible. Doesn’t make weird high-pitched noises like some lower end monitors do. Not a gaming monitor by any means, but great as a main monitor for an IT professional. Even more than sufficient to edit photography or make/view digital art with Adobe products. Great all around 4k monitor that won’t break the bank.

Im not disappointed for what I get for the money. The quality resolution is amazingly beautiful. I’m careless about swirling stand. It’s not that big off a deal. No speaker equip, no problem. Who cares. It’s the monitor resolution that’s what I’m shooting at.

Nice monitor. Big, eliminates the need of 2 screens for my office setup. But my first thought when I turned it on was horrible blacks. Found a setting in the video card to change that and it's pitch black now. Next as I dragged Excel across the screen it jumped frames a lot. The default refresh rate was 15hz which I never even heard of. But the max choice is 30 not 60 as advertised. I can only change it to 60 if I use 1080p resolution which to me defeats the purpose of the monitor being 4k... Not a deal breaker, just not happy that when I drag things around I have to close my eyes since it hurts to look at. I'm. Also using HDMI since the laptop doesn't have display port, don't know if that's the reason. Got it on sale for a bit less than 300 so Def worth it. The stand is not adjustable but works fine for me.

Monitor is really very good. The screen tends to be a bit warm but with a few minutes of calibration it looks great. Only taking off a star because the stand could be better with some more adjust options and they should include a display port cable instead of an HDMI. It’s not the brightest display out there so if your space is bright, look elsewhere. But if your room is normal to low light this looks amazing. Decent viewing angles. Matte finish so low glare. UHD makes the fonts look smooth and rich to read and the images are amazing. The color depth is great.
