||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this monitor with plans to have it be part of a 3 monitor PC/PS5 gaming set up. After giving it a try when the other monitor I bought today didnt turn on(odyssey g7 QHD 32") I played a few different games. First i started with God of War, then I moved to fortnite. Both of those games looked worse than on my Full HD monitor I currently use, so I thought maybe it was the PS5 causing the problems I was experiencing so i switched to Apex Legends on PC and then Fallout 4 but still things were looking worse then my current monitor. Even after trying to fix it with the settings on the monitor itself it just wasnt good enough to want to play on at all.

planned obsolescence

I tried contacting samsung and got the run around will not be buying another monitor from them in the future.

overpriced for the quality

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.was not impressed with this monitor used it for 3 weeks and was getting screen blips and other problems. normally samsung is solid but the price of this for the quality was not there. i was able to find a cheaper one with the exact same stats for half the price and have been using it for 3 months now with no problems.

However, I just started using it and a few days in, the screen flickers in small sections randomly. Display drivers are all up to date. It seems to be from a loose/faulty displayport.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Monitor worked fine I guess, but it has a really bad blue and greenish hue that I just couldn’t resolve when doing color correction settings and for a $500 monitor that just really isn’t acceptable. If you want a ultrawide and don’t care how the picture looks, it works but I would probably go with a different alternative.

Not ale to keep it straight. I would not buy it again

Black screening after a year

Last week it started black screening intermittently, becoming so frequent that it is unusable. Was going to attempt a firmware update , but Samsung support is lackluster at best. Have tried different cables , and have no issue with other monitor so it’s definitely an issue with the monitor.
