plays and produce good quality picture.what I did'nt like is that the internet connection is really slow and connection to online like netflix takes a good 3-6 minutes before showing up on the screen.one day I try connection to netflix and it said that there is no internet connection and I try everything from setting up connection and nothing works.I hook up my ps3 console and it hooked up right away.so there must be some bad connection on the blu-ray player.but I only paid $40 for the player so I'll keep it and just play my blu-ray disc.

For the price WOW what a steal. I was in the market for a decent blue ray player. I found this and was blown away by the awesome deal and have to have it.

This is a great product at a great price. As usual SAMSUNG is the best. The only thing that I am having problems is that it does not plays foreign DVD's.

I have watched some 3d movies on this set and it is amazing.

I liked the unit but I found more appropriate features on the 5900.

Very nice. Becoming huge Samsung fan! Opened the box plugged it in with the not-included HDMI cable ( no problem since we all need different lengths according to our set ups) and never looked back! Thanks Samsung!

This is our first Samsung 3D player and the performance is much better than our other Samsung Blue Ray player

Played four Blu-Ray movies and three froze after forty minutes playing with no option to skip the frozen scene. Played three DVD movies and two of those froze. Again no options, had to restart. When I purchased it, there were three on the shelf that had been brought back selling at a lower price. I purchased a new one. I took it back and bought a Panasonic for half the price and no problems.

I have one of these in every room in my house! Best.

This was very easy to set up. The picture quality is top notch. I was able to hook it up very quickly. Samsung Anynet compatible. The disc loading slot is much better than the old type of drawer loading DVD player. The DVD loads just like the CD player in your car's dashboard.

I like the stylish look of this blu-ray 3d player. Set up was very easy, Blu-ray & regular dvd movies shows great picture. It has all the smart features of the Samsung smart TVs. You won't be disappointed

First I don't usually write product reviews, but I can honestly say that this is a great product. It was very easy to set up, updates have been painless, 3D works great. I LOVE the hdmi pass-through ports, They are a life saver. *Note* Make sure you define the size of the screen you are using. I have a 60" tv and player was set to 55" and because of that some parts of the 3d was blurry. Don't just plug it in, take time to RTFM ( Read the flippin' manual ).

For a high end blue ray player I would think would function alittle better. Pros: Great Picture,Sleek Look, Apps (No amazon), Has 2 HDMI inputs, when you press "on" the dvd player will turn on my samsung tv aswell. Cons: 1.) In trying to bypass a reciever, this blue ray has 2 HDMI inputs. It has passthrough technology so if you have anything in HDMI input 1, it will automatically have that on even when the dvd player is off. The bad thing about this is that you have to turn on the dvd player first then turn it off right away to use this functionality, in this case it was my cable tv. 2.) Does not send video/sound when you turn on the player even when its on autoplay. 3.) Wish there was a switch on the player itself to select between the HDMI inputs. 4.) With the lack of Amazon video app, I tried using the browser and was unsuccessful in playing videos.

Just mounted this bad boy on my wall. Behind my 60'' Samsun LED. Since the blueray is slot loading it allows you to mount it on the wall. No the manual does not tell you its ok to do this. its been working great for over 5 months. My relatives bought the same one and they dont have any issues loading and unloading disc. I highly recomend this model very inexpensive works great you can wall mount it. Very happy with it.

This Blu-ray player is a solid investment for someone who wants to turn their television into a smart TV. The picture is wonderful and the set-up was quick and easy. This player is replacing an older Samsung BD-6500 that malfunctioned after just a few months. It began turning itself on at random.

I purchased this 3D Blu-Ray player the same day I bought my 3D Samsung HDTV (both from the Magnolia Center) and it was extremely easy to set up. It was ready to work in moments. In addition to that I've noticed that the Blu-Ray Player and the TV are in sync with each other - for example, if I go to the blu-ray player input on the HDTV it will turn it on automatically and the voice functions also work for that unit. The 3D picture is incredible, so much better than the movie theater 3D movies. It's crystal clear and puts the 3D image in your living room. I'm sure there are additional features that I will discover. No regrets here!

I have never completed a BAD review of a product or a company but this one has to be told ... the Samsung BLURAY player began to skip and the sound tracking was off. They repaired it and then a month later it was having the same issues as originally repaired (supposedly). Now they won't stand behind their repairs 2-months later stating that the repairs were only good for 1-month and now the player is out of warranty. They said that i could pay for the repairs. I told them I would rather buy a new player. I went and bought a SONY.
