My first Blu-Ray player and my wife and I love it!

I have been a loyal Samsung customer until now (Bought 3 flat screen, a laptop ect...) I have sent this player back now twice it won't play Netflixs every minute or so a black screen appears? I had to call ten times and be on the phone 2.5 hours before they agreed to service an in warranty product and now I have to send it back a second time I have two Vizio VBR 220 they work great never a problem , however there customer service is almost as bad! Don't know what to buy !

Everything in my condo is wireless, everything, yet every time I try to set up the wireless connection it says that there is no WF-FI available. I took it back to Best Buy to get help and it was amazing that most of the staff could not even tell me where the dvd section was in the store. The dvd salesperson never heard of a Samsung 6500 blu ray wi-fi model and said that it must be a discontinued model. Finally I found someone who knew what the Samsung 6500 but claimed that it must be my router and not the unit, despite the fact that I told her that everything else I have is working on my router. Bottom line the sale staff are young and just try to BS you. They did ask if I wanted to purchase a different model. Still my 6500 does not connect, this was suppose to be there top of the line, what a waste of time and money.

Wireless only goes 20 feet and is unreliable; might as well have an ethernet. But network capability served no purpose for me as a) it cannot read windows 7 recordings, and b) every time you record a new program on your PC you have to update your 'Allshare' files on that PC before you can see them on the blu ray. Taking it back and getting a cheap blu ray player; will go back to using 7-year-old computer connected to TV for internet access and networking. This blu ray offers much less functionality than an old computer you have around the house or can buy cheap.
