It has 8 settings and for me this is more then enough. Does a great job distributing the load so it is not off balance. So far so good! I would definitely recommend this washer if you are looking for something to just wash your clothes.

I wish the top were more flat though (it has a slight curve to it). Also it's a bit taller than our old one, and for a shorter person, it's actually a challenge to reach to the bottom to unload clothes.
