I like Samsung products and have always had good luck with them. However, these washing machines have a known defect and Samsung has not recalled them. Our machine is only a year and a half old. It has brown flakes that float in the water and get all over your clothes. The flakes look like rust, but they dissolve when you pick them up and feel like grease or mold. The machine started doing it just after the year mark. No matter ow many clean cycles, bleach, etc, you use, you can't get rid of the flakes and your clothes come out dirtier than before you washed them. We're buying a different brand today and will be staying away from Samsung washing machines.

Was going to be 12 days til they came back. Talked to manager at BestBuy and they let me bring it back and I purchased a different model. So far so good.

Didn't wash, yet couldn't get it to shut off without pulling plug. First and only cycle was over 2 hours. Called B.B. And they took care of it immediately by allowing me to trade for a better brand.
