This is probably the biggest piece of garbage ever! It takes 4hours at times to wash 1 load!we are returning this machine and getting a diffrent brand. I always thought Samsung was good,until now. I wouldn't recommend this trash to anyone.

I bought this washer along with the dryer of the same design. I have had no real problems with the dryer. But this washer is nothing but trouble. I keep getting a dC error on the spin cycle. It's on right now. The first time I had it repaired by a tech (Who take three weeks to respond and only comes from one shop 2 hours away). He said the bleach dispenser leaks on the suspension rod underneath it and weakens the spring. Since then, I've had to replace the suspension rods two other times. The drain hose from the drum came off one day and the entire drum drained all over the floor, resulting in having to pull up the trim and drywall to treat for mold. The switch that tells the washer to stop filling the drum with water went bad, resulting in the drum over filling, causing me to have to pull up my trim and drywall, again. And the valve that controls the inlet of water went bad, needing to be replaced. In just over two years, if I had to call a tech every time something went wrong with this unit, I would have purchased three washers by now with the added repair costs, not to mention the damage to my laundry room, the downtime of the unit, and the time needed to get a repairman just to respond.

Bought this June 15th and it quit working a month later. Samsung came out and said a wire had shaken loose. They reconnected it. One week later, same problem. The next technician said the error code is called a Hot/Cold code. Which means the clutch will not engage. This is a known defect with this model. Samsung says they won't allow me to upgrade to a better machine. The technician told me they can repair it forever, so Samsung will not ever replace it. Exploding phones and non working washing machines! But Geek Squad protection and be prepared to need to replace the machine.

Washer, works poorly and clothing are dirty after wash ..In my opinion it's a total waste of money and I hate the fact that I own such a worthless appliance . This appliance is not worth the price if your going to have to hand wash every item before putting in the washer it needs to be banned from consumers .Samsung need to take this one off the market !!!! Do NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT !!!!!

We shopped at several stores before deciding on the Samsung washer at Best Buy. Great service and product!

Not built to withstand time. Barely lasted 6 years

I've had this machine for 5 years. In year 3, I had to replace the motherboard (not under warranty of course). Now I get slimy brown sludge bits all over my clothes. I keep using washing machine cleaners, bleach, baking soda and vinegar. It won't go away. There is a big rust spot next to the bleach dispenser that appeared in year 4. Really disappointed in this machine!

Worst ever. Bought samsung set 1 1/2 yrs ago and both broke down and had to be replaced. Repair man said never buy samsung. Said they are the worst designed ever and have a history of breaking down.

I had it for a year and a half. The code was 3E. Samsung says the drive motor needs to be replaced. They would send a new motor only if an authorized service technician orders it. The technician charges $75 for a diagnosis plus labor to be determined upon diagnosis, and he has to replace the motor. I was not allowed to change it myself. They force you to spend money on labor. I threw it away. Bought me a Whirpool. My prior washer was a Samsung also that lasted 3 years. Same story. SAMSUNG WASHERS BAD BAD BAD !

Went bad after 6 months. Stopped spinning and it wouldn't complete cycles. Leaves soaked clothes which means more time in the dryer! Samsung was giving the run around so i went through the extended warranty. Main board was replaced twice by geek squad. STILL NOT WORKING!!!! 1 MONTH NO WASHER!!! WILL NEVER BUY SAMSUNG AGAIN!!!!!

What a fancy name.... High efficiency! All lie. It's only been little over a year, and the washer stopped spinning. I called Samsung customer service and they said since my purchase date was last year February (according to their tricky record), it is out of warranty. Even though it was delivered in April their count started from the date of purchase. What a trick! I purchased their washer and dryer at the same time. Average expectation for an expensive appliance like washing machine is minimum 5 years, and Samsung is cheating people with their reputation of the brand. Don't fall for it.

We had our Samsung washer 5 months. And the motor went out in it. I call to get it repaired under warranty. That's when I found out about the recall on it. I tried to get the motor repaired at the same time as the recall repair. So we waited two weeks for the repairman. He showed up to only fix the recall. One month later still waiting on Samsung. Samsung customer service is the WORST I have ever had to deal with. Being put on hold and passed around to other customer service representatives.

noisy, wash cycles are long,. I bought this machine to replace my old whirlpool. Not a good choice, give me my whirlpool back.

Didnt make 5yrs. Can not handle heavier loads. Definitely would not recommend!!!

Bought in 2014 and it never worked. First it was an item covered by "warranty." They sent someone out and after 2 weeks of trips to the laundromat they claimed it was done. It wasn't. Now the drum belts are broken and it works if you wash small loads. For a family of 5 with 3 boys that is fun. I wouldn't buy another Samsung washer PERIOD!

Don’t ever buy a Samsung washing machine. They are pieces of crap. I bought it in 2018 and had to have it repaired in 2021. I’m having to have it repaired again on December 23,2022.

The washer makes a banging sound. We have had service people here to correct 8 times. Samsung is awful to deal with. This has continued for over 5 months with no end in sight. Glad they don't make medical devices.
