They hook up to a "wireless module" with wires no longer than 12 feet so i couldn't even place them behind my couch or on opposite sides of the room because the wires are too short. Setup would have been impossible without the owners manual. It does sound pretty good but i had to put the rear speakers close to the tv due to short wires included.

Your feedback regarding the initial out of box audio experience is important to us and will be passed on to our product teams. You may want to try the wide range of audio adjustment settings to improve your experience to your liking.
You can try quickly optimizing your settings by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, BASS BOOST, GAME, or ADAPTIVE.
You can try manually optimizing your audio experience by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear) to access the setting items such as TREBLE, BASS, AUDIO SYNC, and REAR LEVEL. The selected item can be adjusted using the Up/Down buttons.
Additionally, using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down.
