    Great little sound bar, I got it to match my 43" 4k QLED tv in my camper. Hence I really didn't need a full 5.1 system at double the cost. Took a little to link the rear surround rear speakers but done.

    I'm 61 I've had big screen Tv's & surround setups since they came out, I already had an LG Soundbar with subwoofer, but wanted rear speakers and a new setup, so this had a 4 STAR rating, I got it on sale, WOW! was I Totally Disappointed, my old LG blows it away, the rear speakers were pretty good, but the sound bar & sub terrible, the remote would not work properly, it had an odd Volume button when pressed it MUTED the sound, but it had a mute button already. could not control the VOlume or Sub Volume at all.

      Thank you for purchasing the HW-A470 Soundbar and for sharing your review. Please know that many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, the Volume button is moved UP/DOWN to adjust volume, and to MUTE the sound, you need to PRESS it in. Pressing it a second time will unmute.

      To assist you in the functions and settings of your new soundbar, you can download the full user manual directly from Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner. Then go to “Manuals & Software” > “TVs & Home Theater” > “Home Theater” > “Sound Bars”. From there, you can select the HW-A470 under A Series.

    Paired with my Rocku TV, i thougt this was imposible due to my TV Is not Bluetooth capable but i downloaded the ROCKU app on my iphone in did everything thru there

    Bought this during Super Bowl weekend since the wife was stuck in the room with Covid. Easy to install, great for the bedroom. Perfect fit for the 60" TV.

    Instructions are horrible. Audio and video are constantly out of sync. Display only readable up close.

      Hi SamBad,

      Thank you for purchasing the HW-A470 soundbar and for your review. We value your feedback regarding the sound synchronization issue you are experiencing and the included user manual.

      If the video on the TV and audio from the soundbar are not synchronized, press the SOUND CONTROL button on the soundbar remote, until you see AUDIO SYNC on the display. You can then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.

      Additionally, please make sure your soundbar is using the latest firmware version (v.1009). You can update the firmware version of your soundbar by using a USB device. If available, you may also want to update the firmware version of your TV which may feature audio delay improvements.

      If you continue to experience audio delay, and are connected wirelessly, please use the included digital optical audio cable to connect the soundbar to the TV. Using a wired connection instead of wireless often eliminates the audio delay entirely and improves the user experience.

      To assist you in the functions and settings of your new soundbar, you can download the full user manual directly from Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner.     You get what you pay for. This surround sound system sounds like it is screaming at you. Do yourself a favor, save a little more money and upgrade the the Samsung A650. You’ll be much happier!

      Please know you can adjust the volume of your rear speakers to your preference by pressing the Sound Control button on your Soundbar remote (looks like a gear), then select REAR LEVEL and use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.

    The sound bar works great, however the rear speakers are just barely audible. No matter where I place them, they don't get any better. I would not recommend.

    Bought this samsung to replace my previous vizio soundbar for same price as the vizio was. Wish i had gone with vizio again. Thought with the samsung name i was getting a better product and a good deal. Turns out i was wrong. The samsung was not only worse sound quality but much more difficult to set up. The two "extra" speakers are difficult to pair and u can barely tell the subwolfer is even on.

      I am very sorry to hear that the initial out of box experience with your new Samsung soundbar has fallen short of your expectations. You may want to try the range of audio adjustment settings to improve your experience to your liking.

      You can try quickly optimizing your settings by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, BASS BOOST, GAME, or ADAPTIVE.

      You can try manually optimizing your audio experience by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear) to access the setting items such as TREBLE, BASS, AUDIO SYNC, and REAR LEVEL. The selected item can be adjusted using the Up/Down buttons.

      Additionally, using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down.
