I am sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with the out of box experience from your new Samsung Soundbar. You may want to try checking the sound format on your TV to ensure you are getting the best experience for a surround sound setup.
If your Digital Output Audio Format is set to PCM then you will likely notice decreased performance with surround sound audio systems. Dolby options are designed for surround systems (like 3.1.2 or 7.1), whereas PCM provides great sound quality for stereo speakers.
On a Samsung TV this setting can be found at Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. (It can also be found in the Quick Settings.)
Additionally, some sources have their own volume control which might be set too low. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV or soundbar. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV or soundbar and then try cable connection again.

Adjustable ranges and kick'n bass. Optical hookup mated easily to my 2021 Samsung Q60T remote control. Optical hookup only. There's a USB port for music but no HDMI.

Then the sub stopped working but after 10 years figured we were due for a new one. This has the back speakers... Perfect I thought. It was on sale... EVEN BETTER!!!!! So I waited for ever on the pick up from store cuebside option (3 days) that's ok. Get it home set it up. Playing around with options. 1. There is NO HDMI plug in. I'm not sure if it stated that or I just missed that info when reading it. That's ok. Use my Bluetooth and connect my Samsung tv to my Samsung speakers. It works but occasionally it disconnects. 2. To enjoy any real good movie on family movie night it needs to be loud. Our old system at level 16 was perfect. This new one. You cant hear nothing at 16, I have to crank the volume up to 27. Even then the sound quality isn't exactly all there. But it will do the trick for now and then once I save up again ... I'll replace it with something better.

If you experience frequent drops of connection when using Bluetooth, we recommend using the included digital optical cable to connect the soundbar to the TV. Other wireless devices around the soundbar may be causing interference with the connection. Using a wired connection instead of wireless often eliminates the issue entirely and improves the user experience.

It was a little slow to pair the rear speakers, No wires to run for sub or rear speakers so set-up is quick.

Really samsung
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For being such a reputable brand i I really thought it was gonna be a good sound bar but it took about 2 hours just to set it up with no help from samsung at all rear speaker kit at max volume sounds like a whisper even with all the setting customized the loudness was not impressive as i thought ok for movies awful for music went back and got a vizio premium soundbar 10 times better for only $30 more please dont get this samsung soundbar u will regret it trust me.

Samsung - 4.1-Channel Soundbar with Wireless Rear

Together with the soundbar, subwoofer and wireless speakers we're able to create that cinema theater atmosphere without leaving the house.

I am very sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing with the connection of the Wireless Rear Speakers. We completely understand your frustrations and are here to help!
This issue may be caused by wireless interference. When there is a wireless device (e.g., wireless LAN) using the same frequency near the Soundbar, the wireless connection between the Subwoofer and Surround Speaker could become unstable. This will affect the quality of audio output. Please try moving the Wireless transmitter to a new location to see if the performance improves, or move any other wireless devices away from the soundbar or transmitter if possible.
If the issue persists, you may want to try manually connecting the speakers to the soundbar again to reset the connection. First, make sure all connections are secure and connected to the proper port on both the rear speakers and the transmitter. Please also be sure the power connection is secure between the transmitter and the outlet.
Press and hold the ID SET button on the back of the wireless module for at least 5 seconds or until the blue light starts blinking. Turn off your soundbar and press the Up button on the remote for 5 seconds. The ID SET message will appear on the soundbar for a short time and then disappear. After the ID SET process, the soundbar power is automatically turned on. The LINK LED indicator stops blinking and glows a solid blue when a connection is established between the soundbar and the wireless receiver module.

HORRIBLE

The sound bar won't connect to the tv, the back speakers won't connect with the sound bar. I called Samsung and they didn't even have a solution. I will be returning these for a refund.

Unhappy.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took my time to make sure I hooked up everything correctly,as per the user manual,everything linked on,but no sound from the sub woofer,no sound from the rear speakers.calling samsung support was going nowhere.I repacked everything ,going back to get an exchange .This is my second samsung soundbar that has failed.
