This caused me about a week delay in using my new machine!

Given the excellent reviews that this washer received, I was probably unlucky and bought a defective washer. But best buy was awesome and I was able to exchange it for a top loader without any problems.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. The WF42H5200AP is equipped with Vibration Reduction Technology which, when installed and functioning properly, is extremely effective in reducing noise and vibration during the spin cycle. For others who may read this and are having a similar experience, please be sure to review the installation instructions, remove shipping bolts and refer to the online troubleshooting guide for additional insight into what may be causing the vibration and how to resolve it.

Okay washer but there are probably better options.

Also the drum remains damp days after the wash is done. Don't know yet if mildew will be a problem in the future. My previous front load washer was quieter and almost never damp.

The only negative thing I have to say about this machine is that I always have to empty water left in the detergent dispenser. I read that review from others, but wasn't sure if it was just operator error. It's not. Not sure how to fix this, but it does become inconvenient. Otherwise, this washer is awesome!
