Washes ok Water stays in soap/fabric softener tray

Can't complain about product quality but this was a lost customer sale due to lousy scheduling process and lots of confusion over store availability. Sorry Best Buy, but loyalty only goes so far. Ended up cancelling and going to Lowe's.

The Sam Sung washer is loaded with features and seems to do a good job washing clothes, but it is a little noisier than we are accustomed. It also does not seem as stable when washing bulky items such as bed spreads or blankets.

This is a great washer. I only wish that you could upgrade the washer and be able to match the base model dryer. I tried to buy the washer that is a step up from this, but it didn't match the dryer. They should all match.

The first one that was delivered would rock and was off-balance no matter what we did. After dealing with that for a week we finally called and requested a new one. They delivered that one which seem to work well but within one more week the front rubber seal on the door was torn. I'm not spending this much money on something that I have to replace things on this soon. My feeling is that it's due to it being a front loader. Best Buy however, has been absolutely amazing and they will be delivering new top loaders next week.

I've had the washing machine about a month and it makes a creaking noise while it is spinning on low. I don't know if this can be fixed or not. I'm a little irritated.It make no noise while spinning fast.

The technician reviewed the installation, leveling etc.. and determibed that the vibration was probably caused by the floor not having enough support to handle the vibration created by the fast drum spin.

No real complaints at this time only comment is that sometimes Towels did not seem as dry as It should after spin cycle Compared to my older older front load washer I had Vibrates on spin cycle loudly

I like the washer except that it thumps during the spin cycle. I called the service number, someone came out, leveled it, but it still thumps.

they thought it was ok to deliver it than leave the shipping bolts in thus possibly causing permanent damage to the unit. They will admit they did wrong but will do nothing to correct it

This washer works really well except that it has already had a glitch. It doesn't shut off when the cycle finishes. It runs continually until someone pushes the power button to turn it off.

Wash cycle indicator lights did not work. Had a new one delivered and those didn’t work either. Having both a new washer and dryer delivered tomorrow. Went with LG. Fingers crossed.

After spending a fair amount of time leveling this washer, the first time it went into spin cycle it shook so bad it danced across the basement floor. Then we noticed the clothes still had some stains that would have come out with our old washer. Soon after the new dryer developed a loud buzzing noise so they both went back to store. Fortunately Best Buy was super gracious about exchanging them. So thank you Best Buy for that.

Water flow is noisy but drum spin is quiet. Seems like a decent standard washer. End of cycle music is still being evaluated.

It makes too much noise. I thought it would be more silent my old washer didn't make as much noise and it was about 15 years old

It’s barely 3 years old and rubber diaphragm got water logged and broke and now washer leaks. Disappointing

Samsung - 4.2 Cu. Ft. 9-Cycle High-Efficiency Steam Front-Loading Washer - Platinum Should of taken more caution with the negative reviews from other buyers but did not. Washers tub was out of balance and would almost walk out of the laundry when spinning. I have NO complaints with Best Buy or the service I received from the Assistant Manager Mandi or the appliance Mgr Jason. Jason gave me a 800 number to call to have Samsung come look at this unit for defects. I might as well been talking to a wall with the gentleman who I asked for help. If he told me once, he told me a half dozen times " Not Samsungs problem, Set is unlevel, need to call install with Best Buy- they fix problem". Maybe since I am a woman he assumed I didn't know how to read a level- - wrong! I and my husband had put a level on this unit each time it was used and it was perfectly level, but the drum wanted to crash thru the door of the washer. So in my book, yes it was Samsungs problem, not Best Buys! I did what the guy from Samsung told me to do to reset the machine, it didnt help either. I finally gave up and knew I was getting no where with him so I went and talked to Jason. He had the unit picked up and I chose to replace this one with Whirlpool. ( Which works perfect) Thank you Jason. Never again will I go against reviews and buy another Samsung unit. Thank you Best Buy and I will continue to buy from you. I appreciate the help from your two store employees.

I have been able to use this washer only 3 times in 5 weeks as it has been incompetently installed twice, and I am currently awaiting the 3rd replacement of the washer and installation!

Terrible machine, 2 years in and this will not complete a wash cycle. Spins, rinses, shuts off and adds water continuously. Googling this issue it appears thousands of people are having it and samsung will not recall. Do not waste your money, have been told it needs a new control board which is a $500 repair. Best buy should remove from stores.

It vibrates even at low speed in both the wash and spin cycles. This is a replacement for the "exploding" top load washer. It is worse, though it hasn't exploded yet.
