I was afraid I would only be able to use liquid detergent but you can also use powder! The only thing is when you are done using the washer you have to leave the door open to the washer otherwise it stars to smell like mildew.

I thought for awhile it was off balance, had best buy come out and balance it/level it. The thing moves 3 feet every time I wash something. Shuts off because it has an unbalanced load. Squeaks, bangs, clanks. Best buy told me it is the way the spin cycle is set up on this machine. They told me my floor was uneven....which it's not I used a level to check this out. It's too heavy for me to move back when it moves across the floor every time I do laundry. So I have to have a friend help me get it back in place every time. I hate this machine, would not buy this brand again. Used to have a front load LG and it NEVER did this.
