    Samsung is great for phones & tablets but should give up the washers. This washer is constantly trying to balance itself with every load at every spin. And yes it is completely level on a solid surface. It does not walk either. Right from the very first load I should have took it back, sorry now I didn't. A 29 minute quick wash just took 70 minutes! A 59 minute cycle takes over 2 hours. If you don't have a full load you have to put a pillow or as many as it takes to fill it but it still takes forever for it to balance to spin EACH TIME. Have only had it since Nov. 2018 & really hope it dies early. Buyer Beware.

    the installation was subpar partly due to breaking my cover deck bolt and not trying to fix it but left the deck on the floor. Didn't really show me how to operate or things I should know or pay attention to. Not a happy experience.

    I would suggest DON’T purchase this washer I bought it 07/17 and thinking that because it was a better brand than my previous one which lasted 8 years with no warranties, so I figured I did not need it to purchase it. I was totally wrong It’s only been 18 months and the sensor is not currently working which means is not draining so it doesn’t spin. Now I have to pay for repairs which starts at $110. Washer is not worth the headaches but if you must make sure you purchase the extended warranty.

    decent washer for the price - I bought this when the competitor (LG) was much more expensive on tariff premium pricing. has great options and looks but I believe it is 2-3" deeper than the LG

    Three months in and the drum quit working. did all the reset stuff and called Best Buy and Samsung. Finally got them to send an appliance tech out to fix it. Took a week to go through it all and get the part in etc. Now it works fine.

    I am totally frustrated with this machine!!! Water remains in the dispenser for both the fabric softener and liquid detergent at the end of each wash. When you open the dispenser drawer this water pours back into the machine. I have called twice and they are of no help. Do Not Buy this washing machine.

    I purchased the Samsung washer and when we got it delivered and did my first load. the washer would not stay still while spinning, it walked across the floor. After several service calls and having technicians come out only to say that it was defective and they would deliver another one to replace it. The new one came, did my first load in that one and same problem! It was not out of balance, or installed in correctly, the technicians came and checked again. I immediately sent it back and got the Whirlpool Duet. have been much happier since. Best buy was great, but Samsung washers are no good.

    In shakes so much and is so loud I have such a bad experience I got my washing machine and soon as I turn it on a started acting up I told them that I need it to be level they send someone that didn't know what they were doing didn't speak any English I was trying to communicate as best I can but I got so frustrated because to guy kept the ennore me why he was in Facebook

    This unit uses just enough water to cover the clothes, the majority runs down the glass and into the boot. Water leaked from under the unit. I was told by a technician this was a known problem and repair has been scheduled. The jets do not shoot far enough back into the drum and detergent can run into the wash before the cycle begins. 3 weeks old and already requiring a service call, not pleased.

    I HATE this machine. It shakes so bad it's cracking the concrete. It twists up pant legs and shirt sleeves into ropes all together so everything comes out at once, except everything else that falls on the floor. It's so "efficient" that sometimes clothes come out with dry spots. Control panel and button installed crooked.

    I was sold a broken washer that almost injured one of my employees. This stackable washer vibrated so much that it toppled over and fell on one of my staff members. When I reached out to Best Buy to get a replacement they said that the machine was un returnable. $1200 for both washer and dryer lost. What a scam. NEVER AGAIN will I enter a Best Buy store and I will do my best to share this story with every customer that I see going forward.

    We purchased a Samsung washer and dryer about 5 years ago. The washer started making a horrible noise during the spin cycle. After finding someone who would actually service a Samsung (90 minutes away) we were told it would $900 to replace the drum. I could buy a new one for $700. We HAD to purchase another Samsung because we had stackables and the only one that would stack was another Samsung. Very unhappy about that! We had a Samsung TV a couple years ago that kept turning off and when we asked about that we were told it was a common issue. BUY ANOTHER BRAND!

  • No more open box buys for me

    We bought a open box, front loader washer. We were told it had not been used at anyone's home. After using the washer the first couple times we were concerned about the noise it made on the spin cycle. Also it vibrated a lot. 5 days later and after 10 loads done , the washer had moved about 8 inches up from where we had it due to the vibrating. Well end of story is we took the washer back to Best Buy . They gave us our money back with no problems, so that was good. We probably want buy a open box item again.
