Posted .Hi Jasmine,
We are glad to know that you are using one of our Samsung washers. Your satisfaction is our topmost priority and we apologize for the inconvenience of the washer shaking uncontrollably during the spin cycle. In this matter, this can happen when the four washing machine legs are not all making secure contact with the ground, or if a large bulky item or a huge amount of laundry is in the washing machine.

An outstanding upgrade over older dated washer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently purchased this washing machine to upgrade an older top loading machine. After doing research and comparing energy and water usage, the front loader seemed like a no-brainer. There are only 2 companies out there currently offering a 10-year warranty on the direct drive motor & Samsung is one of them. We've had this washer for a little over a week and it is quiet and working great; our clothes are cleaner than they have been in a long time. Features are easy to use. I'd highly recommend this washer to anyone.

Normal For Front Loader; HE Machines are the Devil
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In general, I am very frustrated by the storm of high efficiency washers. What I really wanted to purchase was an old-fashioned full water top loader with agitator. They got everything clean and spun in 30-40 minutes by using this crazy universal cleansing agent called water. I hang dry most of my clothes so drying time doesn't really matter. I first attempted to purchase one of the old-fashioned top loader units, but soon realized that it was in fact a high efficiency top loader and you can't really get one of the models that actually work anymore. The top loader high efficiency has load balance issues and didn't seem to get my clothes clean no matter what settings I tried or how I loaded the thing. So I returned that unit and opted for a front loader instead, which deal with imbalanced loads much better (with gravity). I settled on this Samsung because I didn't need any fancy features but I did want a self-clean cycle with a washer that has an on-board heater to get the water actually steaming hot. I have never used a non-commercial front loader before, but I would imagine this one functions about the same as any other. The normal cycle with a normal soil level takes 60 minutes, which is twice as long as a regular washer. That cycle does not clean my clothes. I must use the normal setting with heavy soil plus an extra rinse to get a load of clothes actually clean and without residual detergent. This cycle takes an hour and 42 minutes. I hang my clothes to dry, so the total time to get a load of laundry done nearly quadrupled for me. Again, this isn't a specific gripe against this front loader, but against high efficiency machines in general. I haven't had any vibration or noise issues with the washer so far after 2 or 3 weeks. It definitely cleans better the more I stuff it, so I can never really do a small load of laundry, again as a general problem with high efficiency machines. I use laundry pods because it drives me crazy to have detergent drips around my machines and I don't want to have to clean up my cleaning machines. I don't want to add chores to my chores. I just toss the packs into the drum with the laundry. This seems to work fine with the machine. You cannot change the side that the door opens from, but you can with the matching dryer. This creates an awkward space for me because of where my hookups are in my basement, but it's definitely not worth spending a lot extra for a model with that feature; I deal with the inconvenience. I guess if you are forced to buy a high efficiency, which it seems like we are these days, I would go front loader because they seem to work better than the HE top loaders. If you have to buy an HE front loader, this is as good a model as any. I will be happy if these units last 10 years, although I would have expected the old-fashioned kind to last me 15 years. If they fail at less than 10 years, my rage will know no bounds. These HE things cost more, last 1/3 of the time, don't clean as well, and run 3 times as long for one cycle as the old kind. Why can't washers be like cars, where I don't have to buy an electric car unless I want to. But who cares how well it cleans or how long it takes, because it sings to you when the cycle is finished.

Extremely Happy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am more than satsfied with my Sumsung front load washer. It's very quite, it uses very little water, very little He detergent, my clothe comes out very clean and some what dry. Which saves me money and time. I am very happy with it. I have been using it every Saturday the last five month.

Samsung Washer/Dryer exceeds my expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung appliances that I purchased have exceeded my expectations in providing excellent laundry services. The washer uses minimal amounts of water and soap to give a superior level of cleanliness to all fabrics that I am washing including bedding, towels and clothes. I just wish I had purchased this combination sooner as I have seen where some clothes that were previously dingy are now looking brigher and are stain free. I have been recommending this washer and dryer to all my friends and family. i think that they are great products and am very pleased with their perfomance in my home. Thank You.
