This washer is AMAZING for the price. It is very efficient, cleans clothes very well, runs quiet, and has more than enough cycles to meet most peoples needs. I also like that it has a self clean cycle, which keeps the washer clean and smelling great. I have a king size bed and it can easily accommodate a king comforter. I LOVE this washer and would recommend it to my friends and family.

Two years of use and no issues at all, the clothes came out very clean, compared with the previous one we had, this one uses less water, very quiet operation and the APP notifications allows you to better use your time.

It is remarkable how far washers and dryers have come from the "old days" of 15 years ago. Bought this set at Best Buys--and yes, they had the best prices. The front loading washer and dryer are amazing--efficient, quiet and beautiful. Made a big big difference in washing and drying clothes. Glad I took the leap!

PROs -Uses a lot less water than our old top loader -A lot quieter than top loader -Clothes come out dryer CONs -Strong (plastic?) smell when we got the machine, used it a few times, machine still smells but doesn't affect the clothes. -Standing water after use. Lots of water in the soap dispenser tray and inside the door along the plastic seal. We leave the door and tray open to air out after each use.

I just received this washer last week, and so far it seems to perform very well. It does a good job cleaning my clothes and is fairly quiet. Also it plays a whimsical tune when the cycle is done. All in all a good purchase for the price and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a front load washer

This is our first front-loader. I was amazed at how quiet it is and literally no vibration whatsoever. I have washed everything under the sun i.e.: comforter, blankets, throw rugs, towels and clothes. Everything came out very clean, (cleaner then top loader I just replaced) Definite water saver and yes I was skeptical of less water = clean clothes. But again cleaner then I have seen in awhile. The only thing I can think of to say negatively is that it has a slight "new mechanical" odor which I am sure will go away with usage and sometimes the detergent section has about 1/2 cup of water that doesn't drain out. But again that could just be me doing something wrong! Either way its not a big deal compared to the great things it does do!!! Best Buy ever! (no pun intended)

I found this washer for a very good price on sale with all of the features that I wanted. It is missing the steam and some other high end features that I did not want and that push the price up. The packaging of the product was very good for delivery. The size is plenty big although you can buy bigger models. Be careful with bigger models as they may not fit through your house doors. I am very happy that it has a speed washer 25 minute cycle in addition to the typical hour cycles.

Just got the washer today... Easy and simple to hook up and run. Simple yet alot of different combinations of washing, rinsing and spinning. Very quiet too! The normal cycle said 57 minutes which seems like a long time for "normal" so I put a solid load of somewhat stank towels in it and on the "normal" cycle with warm water they came out smelling fresh and clean, yay! I'm going to try the "quick wash" for every day clothes which I feel confident will work out well. I have a king sized comforter in the washer now and there's room to spare. I definitely didn't have to stuff it in there. So far I say five stars.... If it disappoints me in the future I will update my review. I am satisfied with the product compared to others and price....

Does a great job cleaning, with whole lot less water. Everything seems to work pretty good. Don't use a lot of washing soap (need HE), it doesn't need it. Front panel display easy to read and use. Ending wash tune could be better...

I read the reviews from the no Bueno guy about the water. If you know anything about sustainability you would know that front loaders do not require all the water top loaders do. Front loaders not only use less water but spin your clothes better allowing for less drying time. I've been pricing out Samsungs and I couldn't be happier with my purchase I love the sanitize and allergen cycles. Love the fact that I'm not using so much water keeping my carbon footprint still below the average person.

This unit cleans clothes well and is easy to use, but ours has such extreme vibration during the spin cycle that it is truly frightening, not to mention that it is also very noisy and prone to walking around the room. We've had Samsung authorized service people out twice to check it out, and they both tested it and concluded that the vibration is normal. We've tried several types of anti-vibration devices or mats, none of which really had any effect. We thought the problem might be that our laundry room is on a tiled wood floor, but one of the techs took the unit out, hooked it up on a more solid surface and the vibration was still horrible. I consider this unit basically unusable, and since it's not considered to be defective and I'm not up for a big fight with Samsung, I'm selling it for a significant loss and buying a top load machine, probably from a different manufacturer. If you do go with this model or another Samsung, I'd advise purchasing the extended warranty. We did and have had to make use of it a couple of times for other problems with this guy and the matching dryer.

Our first front loader. Learned (after getting it) that you have to drain the catch tub periodically. And there is a filter to clean. Also, if you leave the front door closed, you will end up with mold around the gasket. I was not willing to perform the maintenance items. I want to throw the clothes in, put soap in, start the washer, and come back later. Ended up exchanging for LG WT1101CW top loader and much happier now. .

I read many reviews online about multiple items before I decided on the front-loader. So far it has been amazing! Get's the clothes very clean and has a lot of different wash cycles you can use. As far as features go it is basic, but that's all I really need as a mother of two. Definitely loving this samsung product. As far as the smell goes I've seen some people complain about, I've never had that issue. After I'm done with laundry I just leave the door open over night. The washer also has a self clean cycle that is recommended ever so often. Would definitely recommend to a friend!!

Got this LG 3170 a few weeks back. It's been an excellent washer. I've had None of the issues others have had, such as little to no water in the wash, or water left in the detergent dispenser. My machine does not shake much, and cleans my work coveralls very well. The one thing I would recommend would be get the correct HE detergent. I used oxiClean for the first few wash's, and the loads did not get clean. Turns out that these HE machines need soap with little to no suds(bubbles). I tried some Tied turbo HE, and the same coveralls came out really clean.

We bought this washer in 2016 from Best Buy. It gets used regularly by my wife and I, as well as my two kids bringing their laundry over (including 2 grandkids stuff). About two years ago we noticed the smell was awful inside from mold, and we did major cleaning and started to leave the door open after use which has helped. Over a year ago the machine started to wobble/vibrate so crazy that sometimes it moves across the floor of our laundry room and blocks the door so we can’t get into the laundry room! The vibration and noise has been awful so much so that we are looking to replace it soon. I don’t know if somethings broke or what, but for the expense of getting it repaired I just don’t think its worth it (trust me I looked at doing it myself and it is a complicated process). We were considering top-loads but not sure that is the way to go either, so we’ll be researching for something that doesn’t make so much racket and stays put where it’s supposed to. As far as cleaning clothes, it seemed to do okay although it is a little rough on clothes since it is not a smooth drum and beats the clothes. Wished it had lasted longer....

This washer does a great job washing clothes, and the controls are easy to use. HOWEVER, be warned if you choose to purchase the stacking kit for the matching washer/dryer. My washer is less than three months old and has developed a loud squeaking noise and I found out that Samsung will not provide warranty coverage unless they are unstacked at the time the technician arrives which would be an out of pocket expense. The squeak is unacceptable in a product less than three months old; the unknown difficulties with the warranty are even more unacceptable. Which is a shame, because otherwise this is a product I would have recommended to others.

Leave the door open immediately after cycle and any time the washer is not in use. We have had the washer for 7 days. I left one load in the washer less than 24 hours and the 'ick' smell was horrible. With door open, everything is fine. Spin leaves clothing almost dry. Preset cycles seem a bit long in my opinion. It just doesn't seem like the washer should take an hour to wash something. Or longer. This model does not have WiFi. The Smart Care app is for diagnosing error codes on the LCD display only.

Does a great job. The clothes are clean and the machine is quiet. Installation was verry professional.

We looked at this with the LG and whirlpool, all at the same price point. The Samsung tipped the scale with a better looking unit. Has been working daily for several months without issue. Best buy install was great.
