Washer Leaks from the door

Samsung repair people are telling us to return it. They replaced the seal and it still leaks. Best buy will not take it back because of its 14 day return policy. Even though it took more than a week to even get the first service appointment.

Piece of garbage

As a small family of 3 we have used it lightly and taken great care of it. However, somehow an item got lodged behind the drum and ruined the washing machine. After paying money for a service call we were told that to fixing the drum would cost more than the machine is worth. Unbelievable. Never buying a Samsung appliance again. I can't believe that we paid so much money and got so little use out of it!

Not worth getting

One month after having it, I started having problems. It keep filling up with dirty smelly water. I check the lent trap and there is nothing in there. On two different occasions it has started running on its on without being on I have to unplug it. I have called for repair three times. The repairman just runs a cycle then tells me if it happens again give him a call. I will never buy Samsung appliances again.

worst value

I can tell you it is the worst machine I've ever bought. water sufficient yes but don't wash the cloth with the right type of detergent. too many error codes. I had to change the front control panel board. It's really bad to the point I had to log in after 2 years to write this review.

Makes a horrible thumping sound during slow spin

The washer makes a horrible thumping noise during the slow spin. My husband used his level and checked it. It was level, that wasn't the problem. He didn't see any bolts left on. No, the washer is a LEMON. It jumps and moves when it spins, in addition to the noise, which can be heard all over our 2300sq foot home. Horrible! Customer so-called "service" to get this looked at for repair or replacement is dreadful. We've been put on hold, told to transmit and re-transmit our purchase receipt. The "service" entity has cancelled our repair date TWICE. DON'T BUY A SAMSUNG WASHER. STAY WITH LG!

It only worked for 3 years

I had a repair guy out and he said this is the 10th Samsung washer like mine to have this same problem. He says it's probably the motherboard which would cost another $400. If you want a washer that is going to last, DON'T buy a SAMSUNG. They have poor customer service as well. When I called to ask about this, they said they would send someone out at my expense and they couldn't guarantee it would work. They do not stand behind their products!

Be prepared to keep washer door open
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I had the front load washer installed, I was told that I had to drain the residual water next to the bottom debris filter once a month to avoid odor. I wash about 3 loads a week but have to drain the "filter" at least once a week. Plus, not all of the water runs through the drain so a syringe is needed to extract remaining water from the hose. And be prepared to keep your washer door open at all times when not in use to avoid moldy smelling clothes. Very disappointed.

not fill with water within 2 months of purchase

No error code shown on the screen. The washer just run without water! This is true "dry cleaning". I called the customer center, but no one was there. Poor quality, poor customer service. Will not purchase any Samsung product.

Shakes like crazy !

We went through all the troubleshooting tips and nothing could stop it. It shakes very aggressively and Samsung says that’s normal. I had to catch it falling off our stand when on spin, even on the low spin setting. Would not recommend Samsung appliances. We just exchanged ours for an LG.

Customer service was unresponsive. Look into a different brand!

Never Samsung Washer

Then in in year 4 the bearings went out $500-$1200 to fix, worthless manufacture support (or should I say no support for this known problem). Samsung washer unreliable

If your washer turns on and stops, close the door and press the Start/Pause Button to start your washer, or there may be a pause or soak period in the cycle. Wait, and it may start.

2 troubles resulting in replacements

Second trouble is motor/drum making loud noise. Too costly to fix so now working on replacement. Washer was almost three years old. Fortunately I purchased extended warranty both times. Will not replace with this model again.

Horrible Quality

Samsung washer 3&1/2 years old
