I'm told by repairmen that appliances only have about a 5 year working life. Since repair is so expensive ($100.00 just to come tell you your appliance doesn't work), I was looking for the simplest, least expensive, quality front-loading clothes washer I could find. This seems to be the one. I hope it doesn't catch on fire. I might recommend this to a friend with the above caveats. See required answer below.

At first, I was a bit skeptical because it didn't seem like it was using enough water. However after a few runs I realized it was just how the washer works and it must just be a sort of water-saving feature. It even has a cute little tune that plays when the wash is done. So far, it has been very reliable and has got my clothes clean every time.
