The controls are on the top of the tub, which get covered by our countertop, so we just have to program it and hit start with it open, but that seems to work fine.

You can't tell it's running unless you are right next to it, it's that quiet! Easy install, lots of configurations, great buy!

The TotalTech membership is useless. They charge you a service fee after the first year ($185 + parts)

It was so quiet that I literally could not hear it. I have never had a dishwasher so quiet before.

Best feature is the automatic door open after the dishwasher is done. Helps to facilitate dishes drying much better and I don’t have to be awake to get it done.

You have either plate spacing or wide open spaces. If you use the perpendicular spacing, you’re limited to that fairly wide spacing. I’m still learning what works best. I love the Smart function!
