Excellent dishwasher. Its extremely quiet. I would say this one has active noise cancellation feature!!! It does the job perfectly and continue to monitor for its performance. A third party team came for installation and did a great job. Enjoying the DW...

First the positives. The thing is quiet. Super quiet and what isn't there to love about quiet? Does it do an adequate job of cleaning? Yes. Drying? Very good. Which on the face of it, should be enough to make this a great buy, but it's got some problems. 1) My dinner plates are a standard plate size (10.5 inches) and if I lower the second rack so I have more second rack space the swing arm hanging off the rack knocks into the top of the plates and won't spin. Doesn't spin, so the second rack doesn't clean properly. 2) Can't clean large bowls on the bottom rack. I'm not sure exactly what is going on, but my guess is that because the lower swing arm moves back and forth instead of spinning it will not clean any large bowls put in the bottom rack. In fact it leaves like a weird residue in them, and then I have to take them out and hand wash them. 3) The third rack is designed poorly. This is gonna be a challenge to describe, but because the rows that separate the utensils are at the close end instead of the far end you can not load knives next to forks and spoons (the knife handle is wider than a fork handle, and the rows are too narrow). So the easy solution is to load them on the opposite side of the rack...but wait, if you do that and you want to lower the middle part of the rack to hold, for instance, a large serving spoon, then the knives will slide back and won't stay in their place. This is sort of annoying and as long as you keep that middle part up everything works. 4) The app is a joke, at least on an iPhone. Sort of works, but is buggy. Definitely not ready for prime time. 5) The buttons you push to choose your cycle and to power and start don't have a tactile response. Again, this sounds minor, but if the button actually pushed in, you would be able to tell you've done something. Does it do a good job of cleaning and drying, yes, excluding the things I mentioned above. Would I recommend this dishwasher as a buy? Nope.

The bar in the bottom arrived not attached. That should have been our 1st sign to return it. Now the thing does not want to drain and gives us an error code. We checked all possible things and ran thru it again with the Samsung rep. They said it needs service. Samsung scheduled serving before they realized that they do not have people in our service area (within a 2 hour drive of Seattle--really??) Then they were going to call when they found someone who could do the work. Never called us. We called back and they said that we'll have to return the dishwasher since nobody can come out. They will call or email when they have arranged that with Best Best. No call or email yet!! This situation has been limping along for over 2 weeks. It's my busiest season for a dishwasher since I rely on it to save time on washing & sanitizing canning jars. I am BEYOND frustrated!!! We were impressed with the quietness of it when it was working. The bar on the bottom was unreliable and would occasionally pop out and make a whole load need to run again. (I see now that another person wrote about the same problem in a review). This is not the experience I expected when I chose this machine!!! For $900, this thing should last a LONG time!!! I have owned many samsung products, and this is the 1st one that is useless.

I am very pleased with my purchase of this dishwasher. Not only is it very quiet, but it cleans the dishes really well. I love that it sings to you when it opens the door to dry the dishes. I’ve only had it for a week but so far amazing.

LOVE IT! Super quiet, super sleek, super awesome. I upgraded from my old GE and I am glad I went a little higher on the buck side because I cannot hear this thing when standing right in front of it. Absolutely love it. Hope it stays around for a long while.

First new washer I’ve had and it’s awesome. No issues yet and the drop off team was friendly and quick. So far no issues and had for about 2 weeks. At first was a little confusing how to use because of all the buttons but now got it figured out. Definitely would recommend to others.

My old dishwasher broke and began leaking, so it was time for a new one. I wanted a quality unit that did a good job washing, and that had a third rack on the top. I read some reviews, and this one looked like it fit the bill. Best Buy delivered quickly, and I installed the unit myself. I was impressed with the quality and design, as well as the relative ease of installation. One of the main features of this dishwasher, being highly energy efficient, is that it pops the door open at the end of the wash cycle, to aid in the drying of the dishes. This worked great...the first four times I used it. Then it stopped working, and it has never popped the door open since. This is a problem, because now your dishes end up sitting, soaking wet, and never drying - unless you happen to be around and remember to open the door manually. A quick visit to the Samsung community support website and I discovered that there are MANY people who have this dishwasher who are experiencing the exact same problem: it works for the first 3-4 washes, and then never works again. It appears to be a design fault. A second feature I wanted is the much vaunted "Smart Things" support, where you can hook the dishwasher to your Wifi, and control it via your phone. That way you can start the dishwasher remotely when you need to, or check on its status. This works great...except you have to enable it by pressing a button on the dishwasher. EVERY SINGLE TIME. You can't start the dishwasher remotely, because in order to enable the remote features, you have to first turn it on by pressing a button on the dishwasher. When the cycle finishes, it turns itself off again. This completely defeats the purpose of having remote control over the dishwasher! What an idiotic design decision! Lastly, and most importantly, this dishwasher does not clean dishes ANYWHERE near as well as my old dishwasher did - a unit that cost half the price of this one. If there are many things on the main upper rack, the things on the top rack hardly get touched by spray, and remain dirty. I am OFTEN finding dishes on all of the racks that are still dirty after a wash cycle, and I end up running the wash cycle twice in order to get things clean, which kind of negates any energy or water savings. So in conclusion, this dishwasher doesn't wash dishes very well, doesn't dry dishes at all, has major design faults, and the extra money I spent to get the Smart Things remote integration is a waste, because you have to manually press a button on the dishwasher first every time to enable it. Choose a different dishwasher from a different manufacturer. I wish I had.

I had the first dishwasher, same model, for a year before the tub started leaking. I caught it in time before it could do any major damage to floors and counters. Since the tub was separating, it was a total write off and I was given a new one. Second dishwasher was delivered in March or April of this year. FFW to today and the linear arm stopped moving. So, I call BB and they refer me to Samsung because it was still under manufacturer's warranty. After numerous phone calls that went nowhere, an hour and a half spent online trying to find a customer repair number, I finally find a way to text Samsung. I explained everything in great detail via text, along with serial number pics and pics of the problem, and they still had me jump through the weirdest hoops. The Samsung rep told me to add clean dishes and soap because that will activate to broken linear arm. I SWEAR TO GOD!!! Look at the attached pic!!! Somehow I got the soap activated linear arm. An absolute nightmare. Plus, my 2 year old Samsung fridge is starting to freeze my food and the freezer just thawed everything one night. But hey, my $100 Samsung microwave is working just fine. I've been kicking myself for not upgrading to a Bosch dishwasher. The only thing I've got going for is this Samsung dishwasher will assuredly have a catastrophic failure in the next 12 months and THEN I can get the Bosch. STEER CLEAR OF SAMSUNG PRODUCTS!!!

We replaced our 8 year old Samsung dishwasher with a new Samsung - Linear Wash 24" Top Control Built-In Dishwasher with AutoRelease Dry, 39 dBA - Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel dishwasher. The only thing was we didn’t catch the autorelease function. So at first we thought there was something wrong with our brand new dishwasher. Fortunately we realized the autorelease function had a real purpose that aids in allowing the dishes to dry completely, and it’s become one of our favorite features. Great idea!

My wife and I are so pleased with this linear wash dishwasher. It is super quiet and it doesn't leak like the storm wash model we bought and put in back in March. Manager Will was a lifesaver with his work in taking back the factory damaged unit that Samsung wouldn't back. Thank you Will and Best Buy for honoring what Samsung would not!

The Samsung Stormwash 39 db Dishwasher in Black Stainless was delivered and installed last week. We’ve put it through several washes and are very happy at the results. So far this Samsung washing machine has been working great! I have had it for 10 days. I love how quiet it is. The song it plays at the end of the cycle alerting you it’s finished is a nice touch. I also have the matching dryer.
