Very impressed with the design and features. Kudos to the people who made this excellent dishwasher! It has all the features that we appreciate especially the 60 minute wash the silverware rack and the controls (no accidentally bumping the door and turning on a cycle!) also no lower spinning spray arm. Everything comes out spotless and dry, and as many have said it’s very quiet. This is a well made product.

    We'll miss you, Bixby

We purchased this unit back in April of 2020. Now December 2020, we're shipping poor little Bixby back (Bixby is Samsung's version of Siri or Alexa). When it worked, it was great. Easily the most quiet machine I've ever owned. Cleaning job was superior. Third rack was handy. Adjustable 2nd rack was very helpful and fit a variety of cup and bowl sizes. However... After a few months, we noticed whole sections that stopped getting cleaned. To their credit, Samsung sent out a tech 2x (shoutout to Jorge), and he replaced parts to address the issue. Both times, the repairs worked for a few days and then stopped. When we called for a third repair, Samsung immediately authorized a return to Best Buy. The process was simple and smooth. Best Buy has been great throughout the whole process. While I'm disappointed that this unit ultimately didn't work, absolutely every touch point with Samsung, repair, and replacement through Best Buy has exceeded my expectations. We'll miss Bixby's happy songs telling us s/he was ready to wash or was done the wash cycle, and hope that they're happy at the appliance farm upstate, relaxing with other non-functioning Bixbies. We're replacing with a well-reviewed LG (our old, very expensive Bosch was a piece of junk and I'll never buy them again). One star for the bad unit, plus one star for amazing Samsung/BB service. Unfortunately, I can't go any higher than that. Good luck!

Love my new Samsung dishwasher! So much better than my old GE. Pops open at the end of the run to get even the plastics dry. Fast cleaning cycles and so quiet you won’t even know it’s running. Plus it will notify you on your phone when the cycle is done if you hook it up to your WiFi. Highly recommend!

Very good dishawaher that replaced a much older one that had seen a good life. Hope this one continues as long as that one did. The interior is spacious and easy to load except the door spring is a bit tight and the door doesn't stay open all the way unless you push it. This is not a bad thing but a little annoying because sometimes when you push the bottom rack in the wheels get caught in the small gap made when the door isn't open all the way. The exterior look is good and easy to keep clean. The dishes look good after washing and if you use the additive such as jet dry their are minimal spots and the dishes seem to dry faster. The auto door open is a nice feature that pops the door open when the cycle is done giving the dishes air to dry more easily. Overall seems to be a good machine and works rather well. At first I wasn't even sure it was running it's so quiet. My old one could have woken the neighbors but this one is smooth and almost silent.

This thing is quiet! I was watching a movie and it seemed like there was a peeing noise that made no sense in the movie. Then I realized it was the dishwasher draining! I had no idea it was running until I put it all together. I love the time on the front. Otherwise you may never know it was going. The dishes are very clean when done. I still rinse more than I should before putting the dishes in as a habbit. My wife has gotten used to just putting the dishes in without rinsing. Both ways come out sparkling! (I should stop wasting my time) I tried the super clean zone (can't remember the official name) and it's amazing. Baked on pasta dish, no problem. Day old mac 'n cheese pan, no problem. Hard to reach big water bottles, no problem. This thing rocks! (rocks out at a decible you won't hear!)

We knew we wanted a silent dishwasher. But, the dishwasher competed with the TV in an open concept room! This Samsung dishwasher is so quiet you can barely tell it is running. It has an incredible feature we love and did not know until we first used the dishwasher. When the heat cycle for drying dishes is over, the dishwasher automatically opens the door about an inch from the top. This allows the dishes to be completely dry, with the steam being allowed to escape. This feature stops water from tops of glasses, casserole tops, and all other items that retain water, so you have to remove the tops carefully, or the water will spill over the dishes below. The removable and repositionable racks are helpful, and I love the 3rd rack for extra silverware, cooking utensils, etc. I also love the "Power Wash" feature. On the bottom left of the dishwasher, you can place an extra dirty or encrusted pot there. Hitting "power wash concentrates heavier water spray for washing and rinsing. We have mostly Samsung appliances for durability and features. However, this dishwasher has more features you do use.

We bought this unit to be put in our new home because the one that was supposed to be put in it was out of stock. We decided to go with a Samsung unit because our fridge and stove are also Samsung items. This is a super quiet dishwasher that does an amazing job cleaning the dishes. It isn't the best at drying, but we fixed that by adding Jet Dry to each load (which it literally tells you to do in the manual). It does have a function where it pops open to release the steam so it dries the dishes better, but we still found adding Jet Dry is the best way to dry the dishes. Plus, if one of the kids walks by while the door is propped open and the drying cycle hasn't finished and they close the door, the drying cycle stops prematurely.

I just replaced my Bosch (I think it was an 800 series) dishwasher that was about 5 years old. When it was working it was awesome so my next dishwasher had some big shoes to fill. This one comes so close it’s pretty awesome and a great high end model to replace a Bosch with very comparable! We are very happy with it!! The pros: it’s even more quiet than my Bosch (You can barely tell it’s running) and has a faster express cycle, still has the 3rd top rack that I love. Also, love when cycle is done door pops open so dishes won’t smell!! We chose no handle option looks beautiful and blends well with kitchenaid oven you can’t tell they are not same brand. Cons: doesn’t get as much food off my dishes as the Bosch did, so I do have to be sure I scrubbed it off before loaded (which I do anyway), and the top rack is not as deep as my Bosch so I can’t fit as much at a time or as bulky of items as I did with the Bosch. Overall this has been a great spend! Very happy with it! So glad we bought this!! You won’t regret this purchase!!

This dish washer I purchased to replace my old unit... The unit is so quiet... and it can be communicated via smart phone. It organizes the dishes, utensil, cups, ... so that I can put more then what I had owned previously. Yes, it takes longer for the normal cycle but it is so quiet that I can watch TV finally in the kitchen and not bothered by the dish washer noise. Completely worth it!

super quiet. i had to install myself. Very easy. I purchased as open box and that made it a bit more time consuming but love it now! washes great. it replaced our bosch. My wife is not a fan of the cutlery rack on top because she wants more height with the glasses. I don't have that issue because i load my glasses more efficiently :)

My house was built 17 years ago, and included a new dishwasher. Rarely used it, just a few random times over the years to keep the seals from failing in case we DID need it sometime. But my back was getting sore standing over the sink washing dishes by hand every single day, every single meal. And while I was frugal with the water, I'm sure I was using more by the time I was done washing after every meal than I'd use in a single cycle every three or four days it would take to fill and run the dishwasher. I wanted something quiet, and so the low dB was my first requirement. Third rack on top was second. Anything else was just extra. Got this installed just four days after buying it on impulse. Their installer was great, less than half an hour to get the old out, new in, and running. The good - this thing is dead silent, other than when it drains water into the sink's drain. No amount of soundproofing can remove that noise of water gurgling. I have to keep checking the timer display on the door to make sure it's counting down. It really IS quiet. I wasn't sure about the air dry ending... But with some finishing rinse in here, it's flawless. Everything is dry, even the door, no spots. The stainless steel drum looks spotless as if the dishwasher hasn't even been used yet. So I'm sold on their drying solution here. I had no issues setting up the wireless. But this is where the negatives start... First, you can't just have the door closed, then get on the phone and set it and run it. You still HAVE to hit the start button on the door. Which is an annoyance, since there IS NO WAY to hit it unless you open the door. And if you pop the door open to toss something else in, you have to hit the start button AGAIN before closing, it won't simply start running again if you interrupted it in the middle of a cycle. The fingerprint resistance - yeah, not really. Yes, the lower front panel doesn't seem to show them that much, but up where hands HAVE to touch it regularly? Fingerprints EVERYWHERE on that top edge. The inside really doesn't fit as much as I had hoped. I had two skillets to wash, 12" each, one of them with a glass lid. One small cereal bowl, two larger ramen bowls, a few 12" plates, two smaller cutting boards, maybe 8 pieces of silverware, a few spatulas, a couple knives, and a vegetable peeler. And I had NO ROOM. It wasn't that I was not getting things placed well or that I don't know how to load a dishwasher, it's just that it only takes a couple awkward things to completely make half a rack or more totally useless. The spatulas, I ended up squeezing on the third rack after I lowered the center part to accommodate larger things. But they barely fit there. Two ramen bowls filled half the middle rack. The two pans on the bottom meant that those two plates, glass lid, and a couple plastic cutting boards were all that I could squeeze on the bottom rack and even that was at angles between tines since they wouldn't fit straight with the pans in there... So I'm guessing that I'll have to NOT do any pans in here unless I'm not planning on putting anything else in here. It really screws up everything. If I didn't have them, then the larger ramen bowls would have fit on the bottom, everything else down there would've fit better... But I've been washing everything by hand for decades, having to just wash those by hand still won't be a problem and then the dishwasher will be far easier to load better. But I wish there was a bit more room for that top rack. Small spatulas that are NOT made with a large sharp angle ought to fit better up there. Overall I'm happy though. I got it on sale so it was far more cost effective than any other one under $1000.

My clothes haven’t felt this clean in a long time. You can definitely tell the difference compared to my older washer. I really like the feature of the count down for when the loads done. The cutest thing is it plays a neat tune to tell you it’s down. This model you can see through the lead and and watch it wash if you’d like. The detergent dispenser is in an inside tray as are the softener, my last one didn’t have that ,so I really like that. There’s so many options on this baby that it’s so worth the buy , you will not be disappointed. The lid won’t slam shut like others, it closes softly when you go to close it. Heavily soiled clothes even come out cleaned.I even purchased the matching dryer since I was so happy with this Samsung washer.

Loved the Samsung cooktop but I don't love the Samsung dishwasher. It is super quiet and that is why we got it but the wash cycles last as long as 2.5 hours (helloooo, how about energy and water conservancy?) and as fast as 1 hour for a quick wash. The sounds and beeps coming out of the machine are a bit old school too. There is no modern chime, it is all like open car door sounds from 20 years ago. e got it because the noise level on this unit was rated the lowest we saw and that is what we are getting so far.

The good: Exceptionally quiet and rinses well. Operation is easy, and the unit is attractive. The less good: Some larger dinner plates are too tall when the middle rack is in the lower position, and larger drinking glasses are too tall with it in the upper position. Overall: I am happy with my purchase, and it is light-years beyond the ancient whirlpool unit it replaced.

While aesthetically I would give this 5 stars, practically I give it a 3.5. We bought this mainly for looks when replacing all of our kitchen appliances and loved the sleek black look. According to the size it was the same as what it was replacing so we assumed we were mostly just getting an upgrade as far as efficiency and looks. It just FEELS so much smaller. I don't know why but it feels like everything just barely fits. We couldnt even use the very slim top tray because then our glassware wouldnt fit on the top, and we had to drop the "top" so now tall cooking utensils dont fit in the holder on the bottom - we still have to store them flat on the "top" but that is taking space away from the top-shelf wash only items. The only great thing about the functionality of this dishwasher is that it pops open after the cycle to allow air in to actually dry the dishes (instead of puddles on mug bottoms, etc.). If you are replacing for looks - I would highly recommend this! However, after using it a bit I would not recommend it for functionality. There are better dishwashers on the market that just dont look as sleek!
