As far as how well it functions it does just what it's supposed to do and it does it well. However, it is constantly leaking. We even had a tech come out to repair it within the warranty. And he claimed to not find any problems saying it was probably just a hair or piece of laundry stuck in the seal. We've had this for over a year now and the leaking still continues. It leaks from the front where the soap is put in for sure and possibly also for the dorsal it's hard to tell since it is leaking at the top. This may be one of the ones that's part of the recall. I'm still working on that. Either way I cannot recommend this since it cannot hold water.

These are great, mine are Onyx and set them up as a stack. Replaced our water guzzling Kenmore units. They look great, wife buffs out the chrome and paint all the time after using them. They have a super nice design and look to them. We can now leave the room door open and still hear the TV set without the noise. The inside LED lights look cool and so is the finish tune it plays. We liked them so much we purchased a second set to cut wash time in half and they still use a little less water and a lot less soap then the old single top loader by itself ! Feels like a mini laundromat now. Best washer and dryer we used to date.

Not bad, but has some issues. I already replace the shocks and water pump.

I purchased this Samsung washer to replace my Miele which provided 12 years of great service. The machine was delivered on 10/27 and broke down last night. The spring that keeps the rubber diaphragm in place was found inside the washer drum and the diaphragm was twisted around some cloths. The machine was less than half full. I have a service call scheduled for tomorrow to have it repaired. Very disappointed.

This washer broke down in 13 months I think nobody will be buying it anymore since the manufacturer discontinued this unit

don't buy this product at all , total waste of money

The unit worked great until 3 months after the. The motor went out 3 months after warranty ended. I called Samsung they were like oh well go but another.

I have owned this unit for a little over two months now. It is so quiet I would constantly check on it during the first few operations to make sure it was actually running. The spin cycle is so calm I can actually leave items on top of the washer and not find them on the floor later. Couple cool items: this particular set comes with new hoses though I used a pair of braided ones I had bough previously The matching dryer requires a hot water connection for its steam capabilities. A Y splitter is included for the hot water connection. It plays a happy little tune when the load is finished. I can't think of anything bad to say about this washer. I love it and I should have bought it sooner.

After the first year of the purchase I've been having problems with this washer ever sense technicians been to my house about four times to fix different problems with this washing machine and I'm very unhappy with this product for the money I paid for it's not worth it . I asked if I can get this machine replaced with another but they never responded back.

No water could not clean clothes only beat them up. My clothes came out all beat up even after placing them in my dryer. Had to add water to the soap disp to get enough water in order to half way clean the clothes. Had to clean the gasket and still got slime around the door. I have since purchased a GE Full Fill and I love this machine!!!

Very disappointed with this purchase. Within a month of being installed, the washer began leaking out the front. Geek squad confirmed it was not due to over sudsing. They replaced the gasket and door lock and there is still a leak that is progressively getting worse. This unit is definitely not worth the money.

It started making noise and leaking after a few months

I do love my front load washer however I have noticed that only the jeans seem to smell bad when coming out of the washer. We have tried everything. Its like they are getting enough water to get cleaned? I add bleach to my towels and undergarments so those always come out smelling fresh and clean and most of the other clothing is usually fine but if i wash a shirt with the jeans, everything comes out smelling dirty. My husband is a little frustrated because we have had to wash so many loads over. Its says you can fill the tub 3/4 full so we have but have since gone to half with jeans to see if it makes a difference but not much difference. We started buying the extra boost scents you can add to the wash and we have switched from Tide to another brand and so far I think that was the problem. Tide wasn't getting our clothes smelling fresh, now all of our clothes smell so much better. I still feel like the front load washers do not put enough water in the tub but I am happy with my washer.

Just had these appliances installed, and so far no complaints.Installation team was very professional and quick. There are some spin cycle vibrations, but only for a few seconds.Machines are very quiet and very efficient . Looking forward to many years of hopefully trouble free service.

Disappointed in the long term duration of this Samsung Washer. Seems like a common problem on this machine that costs at least $300 to fix.

This washing machine should deserve 0 stars because it was under constant repair. Like every 5-6 month I had to call geek squad.

BEST BUY SOLD ME BAD WASHER AND WONT REPLACE IT !!

I've had this washer for 2 months and use it almost daily. ONLY downfall I have come across is the annoying TUNE it plays when it powers up, the finish sound is this tune. Wish I could choose a song or something a little less annoying. I can turn it off but then I wouldn't know it was done. ;-) LOVE how it cleans! I wish it had more than one "my cycle" so different members of the family could have their own favorite cycle to save. It's nice for my son that forgets how to run it.

I love Samsung products, my house is full of them!. Love the slate gray color! Clothes come out very clean. Most of the programmed cycles are very similar, seems redundant. The alarm at the end of the cycle is the longest most annoying song ever. It's also a bit annoying that it turns off at the end of each cycle, so when you're running another load immediately following, you have to wait for it to turn itself off, then turn it back on to choose your cycle again. It's minor things, but not makes it less user-friendly.

I love this product, however, I probably should have bought it from Lowes as I intended to begin with. The main reason we purchased this item from Best Buy was because of their 5% back in rewards promotions....yet, over a month later, I haven't seen a single point added to my account, even after calling customer service twice.
