The best thing about this washing machine is the fact that the agitator is small and just protrudes up a bit from the bottom. My old one destroyed everything large (comforters, coats) that we put in there to wash. Love this washing machine.

The Samsung washer has responded beautifully. It performs as you select any cycle 100%. It is a blessing to be relieved of such a prolonged burden of not knowing how long the wash cycle will last and not knowing it will be completed. My wife loves its performance.

Great washing machine

It cleans the clothes really well and when it is done the clothes are dry enough that it doesn't take long to dry in the dryer. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the waterproof cycle. I washed some shower curtains on that cycle and the water just lays on them when it is done. Other than that I recommend this washer.

Doesn't distribute water and detergent evenly

I have found pockets or dry spots within the middle of dirty laundry and times where the laundry detergent has just stayed on one or two items of clothing. I've found that loading the putting the laundry detergent in the wash drum and putting the clothing the outer edge of the drum has been the most effective.

Quiet and holds a lot of clothes. When I was shopping for a new washer my goal was to find one that could hold a king size comforter. And it does!!! So far so good!!

good washer with exceptions
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This washer performs well but there's a lot of noise and shaking in the spin cycle. we had the Geek Squad come out to check it out and they said it was normal for a top loader (go figure). we would trade it out for a front loader but didn't have the clearance. We own other Samsung appliances and are quite happy with those.

I am still getting use to the HE Detergent but have been happy with the purchase so far. It is quiet and handles large loads with no problem. The only caution would be - do not place baskets on the lid. Mine got a scratch on it from my laundry basket.
