The spin cycles get a lot of water out so the dryer runs a shorter amount of time. I'll take that trade off I suppose. The soap mixes with the water before entering the load of clothes which I like. Perhaps that's a standard now but it's new to me. There are a lot of options but the options are simple so you can easily customize a cycle.
