Bought this new washer online and it works great. Had a great price for such an upgraded washer which I needed. It's quiet and fits a huge load of laundry which is a plus. The buttons at first had to get familiar with using and as shortcut just youtubed it lol. I realized this washer is like a smart TV lol. Let it do its own thing and it figures it out then starts as well as shuts itself off with a nice song lol.. I recommend this washer if you looking for something quiet. This washer also was easy to install alone.

I would tell anyone to buy a Samsung appliance. I would also tell them to go to Best for the best prices.

This machine does not clean when you put a large load in.

I don't recommend at all. It does nothing of cleaning

After many years of flawless and trouble fee use on our present washer, I decided it was time to research and purchase a new Top Load washer. There are dozens of "LEAKY" reviews on this particular model of washer, most of which were posted for the year of 2017. I repeat, 2017! There is one review for 2018, in which the reviewer states that their machine leaks on the Deep Cycle, but I can't confirm when that particular model was actually purchased. It appears that Samsung did have a production problem with the earlier model of this machine in 2017, which was finally addressed and corrected. When the Best Buy installer came to our home to hook-up our new machine, I did ask him about previous complaints of leakage during the Deep Cycle. He also confirmed that there was a problem with the machines produced last year, but he has not heard of any complaints with the machine since Samsung tweaked something in the motherboard. GOOD News. So far I have tested my machine on the Deep Cycle wash, regular washes etc. NO LEAKING. YES! The Samsung so far, is efficient, and super quiet. Controls are super easy to understand, and uncomplicated. What I don't need is an highly complicated instruction manual to figure out how to use a washing machine. Our clothes consistently come out clean and fresh. This machine will weigh your clothes once you put them into the drum and add the correct amount of water. If you have an older washing machine, I bet you have to set the water level. On the Samsung, just add your laundry detergent, closed the lid and turn it on. Samsung has worked out the previous bugs, so feel safe with purchasing this model. HAPPY Washing.

in 2018 i bought this samsung washer from best buy, and it exceeded my expectations! The quality is outstanding, and every detail reflects thoughtful design and craftsmanship. It’s not only visually appealing but also very functional, making my everyday life easier and more enjoyable.

The machine is washes quiet and works great. I am happy with the brand and model. The machine holds lots of clothes but don't over fill. I wouldon't highly recommend.

I read a lot of reviews on different washers before buying this Samsung. This model had lots of positive reviews, but enough negative ones to make me hesitate. I'm glad I listened to the positive reviews. Don't let the naysayers make you nervous. I have had this washer for a couple of weeks now, and I am so glad I bought it. It runs quietly, washes excellently, and I have had absolutely no problems with getting acquainted with this toploading HE washer. You won't regret buying this wonderful machine.

I've had my washer for a little over a month now. I love it. Some of the clicks when starting can be a bit loud, but it located in the front of the home so it doesn't keep the kids awake. Turning off the chimes was a must as they are pretty long and loud. I read the reviews about how deep the bin is to get the last few bits, but I haven't found it terribly hard to reach. I'm almost 5'6. I am a bit concerned about the water that settles at the bottom sometimes or the ability to clean out stray trash that may be left behind. Little people don't clean out their pockets and sometimes I miss things. With so many buttons I thought getting it started would be a bit cumbersome, but it is actually pretty simple. I have horrible allergies so all of the smell good detergents aren't an option for me. My clothes smell very clean. I can always tell because I don't have the mask of the fragrance.

I was hesitant purchasing this, but it has proven to be a solid purchase. The only issue I have with it, is that it can get off balance with heavy items like towels, robes, blankets. Other than that, it washed very well, and can hold a tremendous amount of laundry.

The four star rating is due to the price as I got mine on sale. This is a nice washer for a family of five. It is quiet and I like the the cleaning cycle. It has only been used one month thus far. I like the various cycles and do prefer this top load to a front load.

I bought the machine. It is quite but after the fist couple of loads I notices grit and blue goo on my towels and clothes. Shortly after that my clothes started to get caught in the bottom between the floor and the wall piece. Called Samsung 4 times all I got was their recall line who could not help. Finally took to twitter, they finally responded but still will not give me a valid number to actually talk to someone. The drum was replaced and they still can't figure why there is grit on my clothes so every load has to go through a regular wash cycle and then a completely rinse and spin cycle (almost 2 hrs for one load) and there is still grit on them. My water & electric bill have gone up and almost a year later they still won't do anything about the grit. I did find out that you have to dilute the fabric softener to almost a water like substance and can only use 2 tablespoons of detergent (how is that actually going to clean dirty clothes?) in order for the blue goo to not be present when done washing clothes and forget about the pods they don't work either. I would run away from this product if you can. I'm sure there are better ones out there.

I have never bought Samsung but I thought well let me try since the washer I bought from Best Buy broke and I had to do a return/exchange!! Best Descion I made. Had this washers a few months ans runs like a CHAMP!! Plus the little perks and just the maufature warranty on it says alot. Like they always say, "You get what you pay for.". LOVE IT!

I loved the look, features, and price of this washer I bought to replace a trouble-free Kenmore that lasted 17 years. An hour after the installation team left, I washed a few loads. It seemed a small load of towels washed under the Normal cycle did not entirely submerge during the wash. I did another load of towels under Deep Wash option. Machine leaked from the bottom during wash. Same thing with 4 prs of jeans under Deep Wash. Geeksquad tech came Friday. He was here 2 hours. He ran Deep Wash with machine empty and back panel of machine off so he can see tub---water level high and with "swishing", he could see how water would splash out to honeycomb tray at bottom of machine. He ran another Deep Wash cycle with towels-machine leaked from bottom. He called Samsung and was told they are aware of problem of high water level during Deep Wash. Tech would need to order new "motherboard to correct water level programming". Would take 5 business days and Geeksquad would have to come out to change out motherboard. Not only would that take me beyond 15-day Best Buy return policy, but what if problem is not fixed? Why would Samsung not have made adjustment before selling model with this problem (see other reviews)? Don't know if I should trust Samsung and exchange for another model or try another brand altogether. I have been reading reviews of Whirlpool, Maytag, & LG and I am wishing I just repaired my 17-yr old Kenmore with agitator. Seems there are alot of issues with the latest machines.

This Samsung washer is quiet, has an abundance of setting to clean clothes, and the glass top is awesome! Seems to always stay balanced! Great purchase! Best buy set up was awesome on time and cleaned up left no trash behind!

We are thoroughly enjoying our new washer, what I enjoy about it is the drum and the lack of agitator so clothes with straps are not falling victim to getting wrapped it in the agitator and making it a pain. I like how it weighs the clothing - knowing how much water it needs to make sure it stays water and energy efficient, also the timer knowing how long it might take is nice. I have always enjoyed Samsung products, after having almost every generation of their Galaxy line of phones and two smart TVs through them, I was not disappointed with this product. I've only had it a couple of weeks, but it has done big loads such as sheets and comforters.

I have one of the top load washers that can destroy itself in the spin cycle. Samsung did a recall and sent a “DISH” person that said he was not an appliance repair person, but trained only to install the stiffeners believed to hold the machine together during the spin cycle. Samsung then informed me they would give me another year warranty. Sounds good but . . . I am no longer suppose to use some of the features the washer has. The washer stopped working and when I call Samsung, they informed me they do not have anyone in my area (Richmond, VA, population 1,000,000+) that is “willing” to repair the washer. When I call I get a big run around, on hold for almost an hour one day, one person I spoke w/ told me they were in the Dominican Republic, but when I call back I could not talk w/ him again because calls are routed to different countries. Poor phone customer service, no warranty product service, their response to the washer failing during some rinse/spin cycles was to tell me to no longer use those cycles. No more Samsung for me!!
