After a year of ownership we started finding brown mold flakes on our clothes. We perform regular cleaning cycles and follow the manufacturer recommendations, but still we get mold. It's worst when we've been away for a week. Tonight we've already done 3 cleaning cycles before we can even start our clothes. Samsung denies that there's a problem, despite dozens (if not hundreds) of complaints on their support forums. They claim their machine is incapable of producing mold, even with photographic evidence to the contrary. This machine is the worst purchase I've ever made. Do not buy this machine.

Read the directions completely no where does it say to not use normal amount of laundry detergent. Yet even if I use 3 table spoons it keeps going through a rinse cycle. One load may take 3 to 4 hours to finish

Have had for 2 years. Brown sludge coming out of washer and getting all over clothes and inside bottom of washer. Self Clean doesn't help. Nothing helps. Tons of people have had the same problem with no solution. They all had to buy new washers. Do not buy a Samsung Washer. Samsung will do nothing to help. They told me it was "cosmetic damage" How?! They are horrible!

Even on the high spin speed, this leaves a lot of water in my clothes. So, I have to dry them longer than I would have with other machines. And since the dryer consumes more energy than the washer, it is not cost-effective. On smaller, easily balanced loads, I have been able to wring water out of the clothes after the highest spin speed! With bulky loads, I let the machine balance the load on a slower spin speed, then I run another spin cycle at a higher speed to get more water out - but it still leaves too much water in the clothes.

We often get a 4C error code, even though this is a new washer for us. That is supposed to mean the water is restricted from coming in. We checked the filter and it is fine. We sometimes get 4C even when it is draining. And the cold water is so slow, despite no blockage. The previous washer had no problems in that area. We have good water pressure. So today I timed it and the "Quick Wash" took 1 hour and 19 minutes, even with no stoppage for 4C errors. Maybe it is a good washer but we got a lemon? Frustrating.

Probably one of the worst products I’ve ever bought. I’m not sure how this product have such high ratings. It doesn’t wash your clothes properly. It’s consistently saying it’s unbalanced, doesn’t’ drain completely after cycle is done. Stick with a washer that has an agitator.

We've had this washer less than a month. Tonight during the wash cycle is began leaking all over the floor. All the hose connections are tight. It's leaking out the bottom of the washer. Samsung's warranty call center leaves a lot to be desired. Should have bought a different brand.

I have had this washing machine for almost 2 years. This washing machine does not wash clothes probably. It does not remove stains and has actually has been giving my clothes stains lately. Clothes do not get clean at all. It also does not drain properly leaving a foul odor.

We moved this fall and at that time "upgraded" our washer and dryer to this washer/dryer combo. NEVER buying Samsung again! They give new meaning to the words "cheap" as in CRAP. Already the heating elements are not working in the dryer. It's taking 2 cycles to get the clothes dry. And the washer doesn't drain properly so half the time I have to run and extra drain cycle which still leaves the clothes overly wet. Oh and not to mention the PLASTIC lid to the washer cracked already. Seriously go back to the $300 metal tried-and-true no frills, just get your clothes clean, Whirlpool or Maytag. Signed, disgusted

I wanted to love this machine, but it turned out to be a disappointment. Washed several sized loads on several different settings but it just didn’t get our clothes clean. I could scrape baby food off baby bibs with my fingernail AFTER washing for 90 minutes. The final load I washed before returning was baby bedding with throw up (daughter is only 6 months old so the throw up was puréed baby food) that came out exactly how it was when I put it in. What a waste of time, water, and laundry soap.

I hate this washer and dryer! It’s always something wit the water level or the number of items put in. At the most 20 pieces can go in washer if light if it’s heavy 2 to 3 items. Then I dnt knw if the dryer detectes how wet an item is but i try to dry my bathroom rug never dried had to let it air dry because machine wuld stop. I really wish I had the old school machine back.

Over the past 6 years since purchase, my Samsung top-loader washing machine (WA45H700A) continues to annoy and frustrate me. There is never enough water in the wash program, so I have to manually add 2 large buckets of water before starting the wash cycle. That adds weight and undoubtedly causes extra wear on the bearing, but there is no other way to get a decent wash. Also, there is lots of gunky residue left on the clothes after washing, even when I auto-clean the machine once a week… which by the way is another annoyance. Internet feedback suggests that doing the wash with hotter water will eliminate the gunk, but I don’t always want to use hot water because I try to be energy-efficient. I wish I had never bought this machine!

Constantly goes off-balance (Ur) adding 20 minutes or more. Fills up with too much water to be energy efficient.

Good washer technologically advanced washing system 5 stars. Washer cabinet is rusting at washer tub.

I read the reviews and still purchased this washer anyway. It does not wash white clothes clean enough. I used bleach and washed in hot water but my whites just weren't the same. It washes tooo long and is not as quite as they say, I could still hear it running while sitting in my living room. Washer was in the basement returned for a Maytag

It is a mistake to purchase a washing machine or dryer from Samsung. Our dryer door was installed on the wrong side after waiting for 9 HOURS !!! for them to show up for installation and the washing machine started making a very loud noise within months of purchase. It has been a NIGHTMARE to get Samsung to service the product and stand behind their 1 year warranty. Samsung and their service vendors are UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE.

Do not buy any of their washers. They blow up. I bought mine two years ago and Samsung decided to give me money towards a new machine since they were having the same issues back then. I went ahead and bought the new washer and it blew up yesterday. This is very dangerous luckily no one was hurt. Samsung‘s customer service is terrible. They will not give you what you paid nor repair damage To the dryer caused by the explosion.

Bought this washer based on such great reviews, but I am greatly disappointed. This washer does not wash clothes very well. Sometimes I have to put a load through a couple of times before clothes even look clean. What a waste! would not buy it again, nor would I recommend this product.

Brand new and leaks... Never have I bought a new washer and have a water leak like this. AVOID THIS JUNK!!!!!!!!! My vote is ZERO stars..........

This washer is worthless. It doesn't clean clothes well and it leaks all over the garage when using the "deep wash" mode which is the only mode that comes close to actually cleaning clothing. Don't waste your money. Buy another brand with an agitator
