However, to use the smart features it the required SmartThings app for your phone requires to track you wherever you go. The idea being that it will know when you are in or near your house, and will change options based on your location. You are forced to setup with "always on" location tracking, and then manually return it to "while using".

This one has been great for ten months. Now has a horrible vibration during spin cycle. Not just from an unbalanced load. Fortunately under warranty, so they are coming out to repair next week. Hope this isn’t foreboding of things to break in the future.

It has many programmed settings, but allows you to manually set the water temperature, the number of spin and rinse cycles. It also has a larger capacity than some of the other similar washers.
