We owned a previous 2009 model of a front loading Samsung washer. Recently we learned that the "drum bearing" was going out and the cost to fix it was going to be almost as much as getting a new washer. We had always liked the machine and thought that 11 years of service was not that bad given how much the washer had been used. (Granted our earlier Maytag Neptune washer lasted 21 years. But back in the day washers were built to last longer) Anyway, we tought that we would give Samsung another try. However, we were surprised to discover that the new models do not come with a drum light or a pre-soak setting. It seemed to be a fine maching and we might have given it a pass for no pre-soak mode, but the combination of the two was a deal breaker for us. We returned it well within the 15 day testing period. Best Buy was great with both delivery and pickup...our experience with their customer service has always been just excellent.

This has been a great purchase! It’s such a large load washer with great features. It even notifies me when I need to de a self clean cycle! I’ve updated the app on my phone so I always can check when it’s almost done washing. It does a great job washing too. The quick cycle is a life safer. The only crazy thing is the song it plays when the cycle is done

many amenities to take advantage of, but will say this is on the quiter side, read many reviews of other brands and upcoming appliances. make sure this fits in your designated space. I created a newly designed laundry room in the hallway where i had to get side venting due to stackable dryer. Drip pan was not completely necessary but good for preventive measure.

Washes great, love the steam option, beware of water dripping from detergent dispenser tray when opened and glass front opening when cleaned laundry is removed. Must place rag on floor if it is not water proof like tiles etc.. WiFi connectivity not as advertised. I can start the laundry per smart-things app but do not get an audible end of cycle signal through the app.

Works great! East to use. Clean well. No problems so far.
