Power button stopped working at 1.5 yrs old

It finally stopped working today, Sep 1, 25. Really frustrating that my last washer was a Kenmore and lasted over 20 years. I searched online it is well known an issue that a potential fix is to unplug, wait five minutes, then press Power 5 seconds, press start 5 seconds and plug back in. Wait 5 minutes and then press power. This didn't work, but I did let the washer sit overnight and periodically it started working again. It has been an issue now for over a year and am going to need to get a repair service out to see the issue and cost. May not be worth fixing if over 300 to fix.

It's extremely quiet and the Vibration Reduction Technology for the spin cycle works really well. We hardly know that it is running. It does a great job of cleaning, too.

I’ve had front loaders before so know how to care for them. This one STINKS. After the first wash, my clothes smelled sour. The machine has been put through the cleaning cycle, door always left open after washing, gasket dried… it stinks. My clothes stink and it doesn’t do a great job of cleaning either. I wish I could return this machine. It’s awful. I feel ripped off.

Great wash machine for simple wash tasks
