High Efficiency washer does the job!

This fit the bill. It is doing an excellent job and we were able to stack it with our dryer.

I was so glad when my current washer stopped working and I had the opportunity to get this one. It does a great job, has intuitive controls on the front with lots of options, and is attractive (and quiet).

We have owned several front load washers in the past 25 years, even a few commercial grade washers, but this Samsung preforms the best.

However, I will say that it runs very quietly and seems proficient.

Some loads will wrongly distribute the heavier items during the spin cycle such that the washer violently shakes almost enough to break open the washer door. The locked door holds, but nothing on top of the washer can stay without falling off. The contractor hired by Best Buy installed the washer and this problem has occurred on multiple uses of this washer since new. Will have the warranty claim cover a repair or replacement, as needed, after one more month of use to see if it gets better.

Smells like plastic inside

Negative: Has a plastic odor inside. I hoped it would wear off but it’s been almost a month and it still smells badly.
