When I bought my new home, it was one of the first purchases I made (both washer and dryer). Totally happy with them and would (do) recommend them to everyone.

It is very quiet and the number of washing options are good, not too few not too many. The outside is very nice and we would only love for it to have the option of changing the door side opening.

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let’s start with the machine itself overall it’s alright, cleans the clothes has a variety of settings, your average washing machine, however even with child-lock on the power button can still be turned on and off, this means that if you have centrally located laundry like in a kitchen that not only children, but cats can turn off the power mid cycle and sometimes you don’t notice till you’re transferring soapy clothes (an issue that I did not have at all with my previous washer (not Samsung) because child lock locked every button except the combo to turn it off) it’s been MONTHS and I have no figured out a way to solve this issue, I’ve tried covering the power button with a towel, with painters tape, doesn’t matter because all that is required is pressure on that spot. Now moving onto Best Buy, my delivery / Customer experience with Best Buy was so awful that I ended up buying the dryer directly from Samsung which I would absolutely recommend over buying from Best Buy the experience all around with Samsung was 200 times better than with Best Buy, I will never buy another appliance with them again.

It sounds incredibly frustrating to deal with your experience, especially when you have pets or little ones. You rely on the machine to run its cycle without interruptions, so when it cuts off unexpectedly, it can throw off your whole laundry routine.
We thank you for your feedback. I will provide this to our product team for future and current product developments where the child lock incorporates the power button. To keep pets from pressing the power button, here are a few ideas that might help:
a. Button Covers or Guards: Look for a plastic or silicone button guard designed for appliances. These can fit over the power button to make it harder for pets to press. Some guards even have adhesive backs that will stay in place.
b. DIY Solutions: If you’re still covering it with tape, you could try something sturdier, like a plastic or metal cover, which would require more effort to move. You can use a small plastic box or container to create a protective shell around the power button, securing it with velcro or a hook-and-loop fastener so it's easy for you to remove when needed.

The prices were reasonable and up to this point we haven’t had any problems.

Glad that if fit the pedestal base from my old (2009) Samsung washer. Only complaint is that there is no drum light, which I think is a necessity for a front-load washer.

This washer is a very well made washer. It is simple to use and gets the clothes very clean and the spin is so fast that drying time has been cut down tremendously.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the 2nd Samsung Front Load washer my family has had break down around the 4 year mark. Highly disappointed w Samsung washers for longevity and quality. I tried contacting support to obtain a repair however it was stated that they would not cover any repair costs. Just had a repair man come out and they concluded the power cord needs to be replaced, door latch system has malfunctioned, and the mother board needs replaced. Total cost of repair is $850 which is silly to complete for a $699 unit. If Samsung doesn't stand behind their products this may be the last Samsung item I buy.
