No matter what type of load is inside (heavy/light), it will bang violently, and yes, we've tried adjusting the loads. It does not matter how much or how little there is inside it, the drum always bangs, sounding like a tractor trailer using its jake brake. We returned our first one thinking it was an isolated issue, but this second one does the same thing. We are awaiting another return for a different washer that is currently on backorder.
