I had to scrap this and buy a new one, apparently this is a common issue with Samsung washers.

It has many choices for cycles and works quickly, allowing washing several loads in an afternoon. It even has customizable cycles and down-loadable cycles. Concerned about potential for mildew smell. A little noisy (washer in second floor laundry room). Like the quick wash feature.
