Support bearing for the drum failed just over a year after purchase and repairing it will cost more than replacing the whole washer. Disappointing that Samsung designed a product that requires the bearing to be pressed into the drum and that it failed so quickly.

The worst store ever.

They sold me a washer with a dent in the front by the door. They said if I had any problems to bring it back. When I had a problem with it and called to bring it back because of the door code being throw up they will not replace it or do anything since it’s past 14 days. Absolutely the worst service ever and do not plan to buy from in the future. Now I have a $450 washer that won’t run and I can’t get anything done about it.

If you stood too close to it, it could murder you. I have mine stacked with the Samsung brand stacking kit and everything. Tried changing the size of the load to just a few towels and it was even worse. Literally the worst washing machine.

Compared to a previous Samsung washer, this unit made so much noise and vibrated so badly when spinning I was sure it was going to explode. Samsung came out to check on it and they found one of the 4 shocks that support the drum at the bottom was not connected. It was actually upright against the side of the machine. The 4 shocks were replaced and it seemed to do better for a while. A few months later the machine started whining when spinning. The whining continued to get louder and louder to where you couldn't have a conversation without going to another part of the house. Repairman came out and determined that the bearings were going bad. He came back a week later and replaced the bearings (which required the entire machine be disassembled). Since the bearings were replaced now whenever it spins it sounds like the drum is hitting something inside the machine. I will never buy another Samsung washing machine again. I guess I got a lemon and regret this purchase.

This is a 12 month old washer but, the Washer spin cycle is too too too loud with a banging noise. I cant even wash clothes with guests around. Never have i ever experienced this with my 10 year old whirlpool washer. I originally thought i was overloading my washer but the problem persisted with only 5 shirts in it. The factory warranty is over and Samsung acknowledge that this washer model has a fault but they are telling me to pay 700 dollars and up-grade to another washer. I believe BestBuy deliberately sold me a faulty washer.
