Vibrates like an earthquake!

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For starters we’ve had the same Samsung washer dryer set for close to 10 years but since the washer stopped draining properly we decided to get a new set vs repair. We loved Samsung and decided to order this set for it’s wonderful features like wifi and steam cleaning. Upon delivery the first issue was the dryer. After removing the massive styrofoam packaging the top of the Dryer was severely dented in and would need to be replaced. But nonbig deal since our original dryer was stull in working order. Next we connected the washer and started with a light load on a quick wash setting. The wash cycle started I watched for a few minutes to ensure it was running smoothly and then left the laundry room. A few minutes later we suddenly heard loud banging noises and vibrations was so severe I thought my ceiling fan would fall down it was shaking so hard! The laundry room was right above it. I quickly ran upstairs to see what was going on and the washer was on the spin cycle it was moving and bouncing on the floor I tried to hold it in place but I couldn’t stop it so I hit the pause button. I checked the default settings and the spin was set to high. I thought maybe this was the reason since I didn’t have a full load of clothes the setting was too high. So i set it to the lowest setting just above the “no spin” option and turned it back on. This time i stayed put to see what would happen and yes the same situation loud banging vibrations the whole thing started again. I then found reviews on other websites that had the same complaint. Clearly Samsung knows about this faulty product but they continue to sell this dangerous washer. Since there were some positive reviews I believe this machine must be part of a bad lot or manufacturing group and samsung refused to remove them. Buyers beware!

We bought it to replace a 14 year old Maytag whose door had corroded off- we thought since it was so old it was better to replace than waste money fixing it. Horrible mistake! This machine smells awful, we leave the door open, we leave the soap try open and it still smells. It started a few weeks after we got it and I tried to return it but it was not in the return window. I can’t figure out why it smells because in 14 years with the same level of care our Maytag never smelled so bad. I will likely sell it on marketplace at a discount and buy Maytag machines.

BEST BUY IS A SCAM!

Best Buy is selling defective equipment. I purchased this new in box and best buy has been to my house at least 4 times regarding this equipment. The 3rd time that they came, the washer was already dented in box. The original washer and dryer wouldn’t start a load and the dryer wouldn’t dry warm.

This washer is the worst washer I have ever owned. Purchased in December 2022 and broke on May 6th 2023. A part that supports the drum entirely broke off during the washing cycle. It took 6 days for a technician to come out. Ultimately he deemed the washer irreparable. Fast forward to over a month later, endless calls and email exchanges with Samsung, I have yet to receive my refund. I am beyond frustrated and will never buy a Samsung appliance ever again. Their customer service is a nightmare. If i could give 0 stars I would!

A nigthmare get it installed

Buyer Beware

Just the other day, it started shaking and banging during the spin cycle. It wasnt full by any means - just kid clothes so nothing heavy - so we called a repair tech. He opened it up, and a concrete counterweight had come loose and broken. He said this type of thing shouldn’t happen, especially in this short a time of use, unless we were washing things we shouldnt have been. I don’t know how it could have been our fault, as we have always been afraid to fill to max capacity.

Don’t buy this machine

Bad delivery service

worthless
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.absolutely worthless if you actually want clean clothes...does not use sufficient amount of water,does not wash clothes in a solution of water..all it does is get clothes wet a tosses them around...i washed 1 set of clothes in washer on 2 different cycles,once on normal(1hr) and washed same clothes again on heavy cycle(2.5hrs)..pulled clothes out and washed by hand in a tub with a solution of water and soap..(pictures)...absolutely disgusting..i got the clothes cleaner in 20 min.in a tub than the washer did in 3.5 hrs..insane..do not buy...if you already have an H.E. washer,do the test yourself..from what i seen,i will not stay at a place(hotel or bnb) and use there sheets or towels if they used an H.E. washer...disgusting

Installation a joke

There is zero quality control because they have these guys do 15 to 20 installs in one day. First installer didn't level the legs of the washer and since it's stacked in a closet, I wasn't going to try to attempt myself after they left. Had to have them come out again days later to level the feet, then those guys snapped the ground prong of the plug in the wall and left and didn't even tell me that they did it. I could not use the washer due to the danger of electrical shock. Now I had to have them exchange the washer for a new one days later to find out that when they came to install new one they would not be able to install the new one because of the danger of the plug broken off from previous installer. Then I had to reschedule for a 4th time days later again and replace the electrical outlet myself before they came to install new one. I will never again be purchasing from best buy, especially having something installed from them, a complete joke. Oh, and the legs are still not level which I have to still do myself now after all of that

VERY disappointed in the quality of THIS product

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this washer and matching dryer along with two matching pedestals last May 2022 with the actual delivery of the two items on July 2022. Shortly after using the washer, fine gray dust/small particles were accumulating at the front of the washer. I did no think anything of it at the time. Fast forward to April....still continuing to find the gray dust/particles in front, on the floor, of the washer. Now the washer is almost walking out of the laundry room when it is on the rinse cycle. I have never experienced such a violent occurrence when the washer was spinning on any of my previous LG units. When the repair man showed up to repair my washer, he already knew what was going on with my washer when I first told him about the gray dust/particles as he has seen this problems many times with Samsung and this unit. When he opened the front up, the bracket had completely broken off and i guess it was grinding something down inside the unit which caused the fine gray dust particles to appear. The unit is unable to be fixed and has to be completely replaced with a new washer. I was advised by the technician to NOT get the same model again as it will most likely happen again. Fast forward to dealing with Samsung...they confirmed that my unit needed to be replaced BUT they would not honor replacing my dryer and pedestals to match another Samsung washer as I didn't want to get the same model. Anytime I purchase a washer and or dryer, I purchase the matching SET, even if one of the two is still working. I am aware that some do not do this but I like my appliances to match. Samsung would not fix the issue of things not matching and they really didn't seem to care that after such a horrible Customer Service experience with them that I will NEVER purchase another SAMSUNG product. Every tv/phone/appliance we own is Samsung...NO MORE!!! I do hope this post helps other buyers to think twice about this item. Who knows...maybe I had a lemon...but when the repair man states that he has seen plenty of Samsung units do this...well, you have to wonder?

Don't recommend

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hate to even have to say anything negative about Samsung's products but this washer has not met my expectations and has even left little oil deposit spots on some of my clothing, on top of that it doesn't was as quietly as my previous over 10 year old LG washer. I had to have their technician come out twice which is them creating a monopoly because I requested a second oponion and they send the same person out to tell me its fine. Sorely disappointed in this machine and Samsung's customer service. I reported these issues not even 3 weeks from receiving it and they refuse to homor my request to take it back and have made it their agenda to make sure I'm stuck with it whether it works correctly or not.

Absolute junk, broken unusable after 2 years

I bought this brand new, used it for two years lightly (1-2 loads per week, never overfilling, using HE detergent). It broke and sounded like a jet engine. After fighting with Samsung customer service for a month and submitting a BBB claim Samsung finally sent a repair person who said the counterweight was broken and it was not repairable. They said they'll give me a "buyout". Now I'm fighting with Samsung to get a timeline / answers for how this "buyout" is supposed to work. I've sent follow up emails daily for the past week and the agent on the case yelled at me that contacting him isn't going to move it any faster after he told me it would be 1-2 days before I'd hear back. Their products and service are a joke. I'll never buy another Samsung appliance again. Save yourself the headache and spend another $100 for a machine that will last 10+ years, not this junk that is unusable after 2 years.

Stalled Cycle

It was stuck on the bedding cycle overnight and wouldn't stop. I stopped it and put on rinse and spin and the time still didn't change. So I had wet clothes and the spin only got the water out. I'm done with Samsung as far as appliances go. This is the second washer of Samsung I've had issues with. They make good Phones, Tablets, Earbuds and Televisions but that's it. I don't recomend any appliance. Save yourself time and save money to get a reliable product.

Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was the first time I was disappointed with bestbuy, the guy who dropped it off, came coming up with reasons on why not to install, needless to say it’s still not installed. My wife couldn’t do it, and I work out of town. Not satisfied, paid for the extra parts just to have it installed. Nothing was in the way to install it or anything. Just lazy

Poor customer service and unprofessional teams

I have a bad experience with Best Buy and geek squad. Geek squad team had me Change an outlet for no reason. They sent me a broken washer and the guy named John said that the outlet needs to be replaced. I had to pay money to electrician for no reason. They came and replaced the outlet. The next time the came for installation the washer still wasn’t working. I will not buy anything from bust buy anymore. I have been having a hard time with the customer support and installation process. Very unprofessional, poor customer service.
