Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We’ve been long-time fans of Samsung’s TVs, watches, and mobile devices, which are all excellent, so naturally, we trusted them for our home appliances. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. We purchased a front-loading washer (model WF45B6300AC) 27 months ago for $850, and it has already failed twice. The most recent issue, which seems to be a well-known problem, will cost $660 to repair. Neither issue was covered under warranty. Adding to our frustration, the ice maker in our refrigerator also stopped working just after the warranty expired and the matching dryer's drum is beginning to squeak. Given our experience and that of others we know, it seems Samsung appliances are not built to last, and the company’s customer service does little to address these ongoing issues. We had high hopes based on their other products, but I can’t recommend their appliances given their poor reliability and inadequate customer support. We will never buy another Samsung product again.

I got a lemon for a wash machine with this Samsung

I only had a set of sheets and a light weight blanket in the cycle. Had all the extended warranties offered thru Best Buy, but Best Buy was of no help, except to say "call Samsung". Samsung so far is of no help. They thought replacing door was sufficient, even though there's slivers of shattered glass that fell thru the tiny holes into the drum unit. You could hear all the shattered glass when turning the drum. Repair guy tried to explain to Samsung that the unit needs to be replaced. Samsung is having the repair guy take the machine apart and replace with a new drum. New drum unit is order to be here in 10 days. So far not happy with Best Buy nor Samsung.

It does not matter if one uses HE detergent to wash 5 shirts, in heavy duty mode with 5 times rinse setting: the clothes will still come out UNCLEANED and MORE STINKY than when it was unwashed. No amount of smart technology or friction will ever clean any laundry if there is not enough water. Whoever came up with this high efficiency idea of washing clothes with little water must be wearing stinky clothing all the time. Water has been the main factor in cleaning clothes since ancient times. ENOUGH WATER IS ESSENTIAL TO CLEAN CLOTHES...THAT'S COMMON SENSE. PLEASE DO NOT REINVENT THE WHEEL.

Rubber seal tore after 11 months

If you stood too close to it, it could murder you. I have mine stacked with the Samsung brand stacking kit and everything. Tried changing the size of the load to just a few towels and it was even worse. Literally the worst washing machine.

Poor build quality

Support bearing for the drum failed just over a year after purchase and repairing it will cost more than replacing the whole washer. Disappointing that Samsung designed a product that requires the bearing to be pressed into the drum and that it failed so quickly.
