The 5 stars tricked me into a purchase. I was upgrading some ancient GE washer/dryers and this looked amazing. 2 years later the washer is leaking water from the front (gasket torn), and a few months after that we got drain pump problems. Estimate to fix $575!! Check Reddit for Samsung washer leaks and also google samsung error code SC. Lots of problems for lots of people. If you only need a washer/dryer for a year to sell a home, Samsung looks great... otherwise it's a waste of money. If you do go ahead and get one, get an extended warranty. I did, but it's taking days to get service.

We purchased 4 appliances at the same time. The stove was damaged, the stacking kit for the washer/dryer wasn't sent and literally all that was done was plug in the refrigerator. They wouldn't run the water line and the icemaker didn't come. I had to go pick up the icemaker and pay a plumber to run the line, they came back 4 times before we got all 4 appliances installed

Large Capacity Smart Front Load Washer with Super Speed Wash in White appeared promising at first, but after just two months of ownership, I experienced a catastrophic failure. In this article, I will share my personal experience and highlight the flaws of this washer, providing insights for potential buyers. It is important to be aware of the downsides of any appliance before making a purchase decision.
The internal washing machine barrel unexpectedly broke, resulting in the violent smashing of the casing and other components. The extent of the damage was shocking, rendering the washer completely unusable. To add to the surprise, a significant amount of black dust, unrelated to ash, was expelled from the bottom. Even the Samsung technician who examined the unit was taken aback by the severity of the damage.
Upon inspection, it became clear that the entire drum had detached from the bolts meant to hold it together. This highlighted a significant flaw in the washer's design. The detachment of the drum from its securing bolts is not something one would expect from a reputable brand like Samsung. It raised concerns about the overall construction and reliability of the washer.

Bought this machine just a little over 2 years ago for a family of 3 - so low usage and it needs new shock absorbers which will cost about half the price of a new machine. Called Samsung and the machine is not under warranty. Really? Clearly something is very wrong! I don't expect ot have to replace this price machine every 2 years.

mediocre and breaks easily

I have not had great results with this washer and even worse results with getting samsung customer service to help. I would prefer a different brand of washing machine next time.

Stay away from Samsung Washer

I bought this item in Dec 2021 after seeing the reviews and they offered some discount. Minimum use at apartment. It started making loud noise after 6months of use. The Technician from Bestbuy came, did some minor checks, and said everything is OK. Now it completely quit working making real loud noise. The manufacture warranty of 2 yrs just expired 3 weeks ago. Called Bestby again paid the diagnostic fee. To fix it is another $450 bucks. So the total adds up almost equal to the price of the washer. I opted to go for new LG washer than spending money on a defective brand washer.
Stay away from SAMSUNG for Washer. Our another LG washing machine lasted more than 10 yrs without any problem

RUN FROM SAMSUNG!

I don’t know who’s writing the review on the washing machine. After just over a year, our machine broke, causing a flood. We contacted Samsung to get a technician out after waiting one hour on the phone. They told us somebody would contact us 24 to 48 hours. It’s now been four days the first customer service person from Samsung who was Emma from the Philippines put us on hold for half an hour, and never came back. There is no customer service. There is no follow up. We got a lemon washing machine , and nobody at Samsung cares. I’m no longer buying from Best Buy and I will never buy one Samsung product.

Our appliance man told us a bolt broke off which has led to needing to replace the entire tub. All said and done the quote was $880, more than we paid for the washer. Samsung and Best Buy are no help and act like it’s your fault for not buying their extra warranties. Same thing happened on new Samsung fridge. Both repair guys have laughed and said Samsung looks great but are horrible quality. Their customer service is an absolute joke.

Don’t buy!

These models have issues with the balance weights that Samsung knows about and cant be repaired. Plus they wont completely replace when it breaks after only 2 years. Buy a different brand that will honor their product.

Your washing machine may shake, move, and make noise while spinning.
This can happen when the four washing machine legs are not all making secure contact with the ground, or if a large bulky item or a huge amount of laundry is in the washing machine.
