    Done wrong by Best Buy

    Bought this supposedly new, open box washing machine that lasted about 5 washings over 2 weeks. By then it was shaking so bad the neighbors could hear it and it shook the whole house. Of course Best Buy said it was past their warranty by time we called and referred it to Samsung. Found out it was unfixable, broken weight and bolts. Best Buy should have taken it back for refund or credit but Nooo! Will not be buying major appliances or possibly anything else there again. Took 2 months for Samsung to take action. Not a happy camper!!

      Your washer will vibrate and make some noise, but it should be barely noticeable. If your washer is shaking violently, ensure the shipping bolts are removed for the front load model. A level floor and washer will help reduce shaking, too. Give the washer space for rattling or clanging noises, and check for loose metal items inside. Turning clothes inside out can reduce noise from buttons and zippers. And finally, if you hear squeaking or squealing, turn your washer off and request service.

    Buyer Beware

    We’ve had this 18 months, and it was never as quiet as we thought ot should be. Just the other day, it started shaking and banging during the spin cycle. It wasnt full by any means - just kid clothes so nothing heavy - so we called a repair tech. He opened it up, and a concrete counterweight had come loose and broken. He said this type of thing shouldn’t happen, especially in this short a time of use, unless we were washing things we shouldnt have been. I don’t know how it could have been our fault, as we have always been afraid to fill to max capacity.

    Works like a washer should, with many problems

    I've had more problems with this washer than any cheaper one I've ever used. First the door lock stopped working so I couldn't wash anything, which I had to call and wait a few days for it to come be fixed under warranty. The front seal of the door always has a leak, every single wash cycle. Now, conveniently it started leaking out the front of the washer of all places. Right after my warranty ran out too for the added smack in the face. Do yourself the favor and skip on a Samsung washer, it's just not worth the hassle.

    The buttons on the front panel of the washer are smearing/peeling off. I contacted Samsung explaining to them what the issue is with photos and they sent a tech over who came by and took the same photos and said Samsung will not address. This appears to be a known issue and I guess in while the entire front panel will not have any buttons and it will get totally wiped out. Very disappointed in the way Samsung has addressed this issue, wasted my time and did not do anything for this issue.

    Bestbuy after a month of the delivery still doesnt install it. They have came 4 times and never bring the parts for the instalation. I just want they take the washer and dryer of and buy in other store that provide instalatin and costumer service.

    We like this washer. After the test wash, we did 6 loads of laundry. I like the way it looks, easy to use.Many different settings to choose from.

    This unit was to replace a Samsung top loader that was recalled after six months of ownership. Unfortunately, I can not give a higher rating for the replacement at this time as there were two large dents to the unit when it was delivered. I took delivery of the dented washer, because the recalled model was nonfunctional. We’ve run six or seven loads through the unit, which performs as expected. The delivery guys were good and the local Best Buy has ordered a replacement for the replacement. I will follow up when it is delivered.

    Do not buy this item! Best Buy is selling defective equipment. I purchased this new in box and best buy has been to my house at least 4 times regarding this equipment. The 3rd time that they came, the washer was already dented in box. The original washer and dryer wouldn’t start a load and the dryer wouldn’t dry warm.

    Smell that mold? So does the person standing next

    This machine is terrible! We bought it to replace a 14 year old Maytag whose door had corroded off- we thought since it was so old it was better to replace than waste money fixing it. Horrible mistake! This machine smells awful, we leave the door open, we leave the soap try open and it still smells. It started a few weeks after we got it and I tried to return it but it was not in the return window. I can’t figure out why it smells because in 14 years with the same level of care our Maytag never smelled so bad. I will likely sell it on marketplace at a discount and buy Maytag machines.

    Weight balancer exploded less than a year

    Great when it worked, its been about a year and one of the weight balancers exploded. It's now out of warranty and Samsung wont cover it. The cost to repair is basically the same a new one. Terrible build quality.

      If your washer enters self-cleaning mode, it usually indicates that you have completed 40 wash cycles. This self-cleaning feature helps prevent the buildup of residue and odor-causing bacteria, keeping your washer drum fresh. We recommend running the self-cleaning cycle once a month or every 40 cycles.

    Machine goes off balance even on the smallest loads. Every time I hear it, it’s like fingernails on a chalk board. It’s level so that’s not the problem.
