I replaced an old Whirlpool washer that lasted about 13 years. I like that there is a timer and that you can see the clothes in the washer. It's been great so far. No rattling like the old washer. I like that no agitator so it holds a larger load.

However it is a bit noisy and shakes a lot when running. I also noticed that there was a slight rust starting to form at the outside that I have been cleaning out to make sure it does not stick. You may want to read reviews about that as this seems to be a common issue that Samsung is not doing anything about. I also realized that the filter is not that sturdy and may not hold enough things that fall through and could possibly clog your outlets. So far I have been cleaning it every month or so and not finding many things there, with my old ge front load I would find treasures in the filter (coins, clips, even kids socks)

I am very curious to see if Samsung can beat it. It works great so far, although it’s delicate cycle is much worse then my previous device. The wool was not washed that delicately as before.

Best Buy does not allow you to use your old one. This is very wasterful and Best Buy should consider enviornmental friendly resuse options. Also they require you to buy a hose without knowing how long of a hose you need. Again, more waste. Plus the installed couldn't install the machine bc he didn't have any other hose sizes with him.

It is actually just as good as my previous washer that I payed twice as much for. It works hard for my entire family everyday without noise or problems.

It takes much less time to wash a load compared to our previous washer. We did have an issue with installers where instructions said they would level the machine & I had to remind them & have my level handy to check as they adjusted the legs.

Not all features are useable on all settings, so you have to memorize or look up. I think it runs too hot or long on some things. It has a tendency to overdry cottons on normal settings, so now I’m using the timer, which has to be adjusted each time. I frankly miss my 20-year old Kenmore with mechanical parts vs. digital settings that are bound to need replacing at sooner. (I hate that new appliances don’t last as long and end up in landfills.) It comes with vent and gas attachments, but our existing were better quality, so the parts weren’t needed. The Service team that installed was great.

Congratulations on your Samsung Dryer and understand you are having some concerns with your machine running to long. all options are not available on sensor dry cycles. the only cycle you are able to adjust all the functions are the manual dry setting. For more helpful information, see link below:
