Best time to take advantage of their sales when they have it . Capitalized on Black Friday and ended up walking away with a nice set under $1200. I got to pick the time i wanted to deliver . Very convenient as I wasn’t moving into my new place right away.

The issue isn't the unit. It stopped working after 6 months, which is a problem. But I bought the extended warranty and thought I'd be golden at least during the initial ownership period before extended kicked in. However, Samsung contracts with local companies and makes absolutely NO guarantee on timeframe or compensation for having to go to the laundromat. My washer broke over a month ago and we're still waiting on a tech after being given the runaround and rescheduled on several times. We live in a major city so there's no real excuse. After calling Samsung to complain loudly they transferred the ticket to a different company and I don't anticipate better results. Meanwhile I'm almost $200 in the hole from laundromat visits (I have six kids) and Samsung flat out refuses any consideration of compensation for that. I paid almost 2k with warranty and installation for a premium washer/dryer set and I'm spending hours every week at the laundromat after owning it for 6 months with no end in sight. The lesson I learned is not to buy from a company that doesn't do its own repairs or doesn't offer a guarantee for repair time. This will be the last Samsung appliance I ever buy.

My 3 year-old loves the sounds it makes when pushing the touch screen and it leads to him turning off our wash often. Overall great washer.

One downside I noticed is that when you are pouring the softener in the holder it immediately drains into the washer. So, if you have the door open while doing that it drains into the rubber door seal.

Buying experience from best buy is always good except delivery experience where you have to careful cheers. Cheers!

But I have noted one potential problem, the lint filter might possibly wear out and break eventually due to the hinge action in opening it for cleaning.

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let’s start with the machine itself overall it’s alright, cleans the clothes has a variety of settings, your average washing machine, however even with child-lock on the power button can still be turned on and off, this means that if you have centrally located laundry like in a kitchen that not only children, but cats can turn off the power mid cycle and sometimes you don’t notice till you’re transferring soapy clothes (an issue that I did not have at all with my previous washer (not Samsung) because child lock locked every button except the combo to turn it off) it’s been MONTHS and I have no figured out a way to solve this issue, I’ve tried covering the power button with a towel, with painters tape, doesn’t matter because all that is required is pressure on that spot. Now moving onto Best Buy, my delivery / Customer experience with Best Buy was so awful that I ended up buying the dryer directly from Samsung which I would absolutely recommend over buying from Best Buy the experience all around with Samsung was 200 times better than with Best Buy, I will never buy another appliance with them again.

a. Button Covers or Guards: Look for a plastic or silicone button guard designed for appliances. These can fit over the power button to make it harder for pets to press. Some guards even have adhesive backs that will stay in place.
b. DIY Solutions: If you’re still covering it with tape, you could try something sturdier, like a plastic or metal cover, which would require more effort to move. You can use a small plastic box or container to create a protective shell around the power button, securing it with velcro or a hook-and-loop fastener so it's easy for you to remove when needed.

Nice looking but cheap quality

The things I like is the control panel is digital and the capacity is much larger than the old one's.
