If you aren't stacking or putting the dryer on a pedestal, you do have to lean pretty far down to get the clothes out (again more of an issue for seniors and bad backs).

This is a good dryer where it doesn't shake the whole room. It also comes with a chime selection to tell you when it is done its drying cycle. I love it and the washer.

The issue isn't the unit. It stopped working after 6 months, which is a problem. But I bought the extended warranty and thought I'd be golden at least during the initial ownership period before extended kicked in. However, Samsung contracts with local companies and makes absolutely NO guarantee on timeframe or compensation for having to go to the laundromat. My washer broke over a month ago and we're still waiting on a tech after being given the runaround and rescheduled on several times. We live in a major city so there's no real excuse. After calling Samsung to complain loudly they transferred the ticket to a different company and I don't anticipate better results. Meanwhile I'm almost $200 in the hole from laundromat visits (I have six kids) and Samsung flat out refuses any consideration of compensation for that. I paid almost 2k with warranty and installation for a premium washer/dryer set and I'm spending hours every week at the laundromat after owning it for 6 months with no end in sight.

I am so happy with the customer service I’ve received regarding the extended warranty. I highly recommend buying it!
